I want a case that is protective but that isn't bulky for my iPhone 16 pro, does anyone have any suggestions? I was looking on rhino shield but Im unsure because I have never ordered from there. and I need one that is trustworthy TIA
I have seen a dozen video reviews or tests on cases and read through dozens of forums or articles on best phone cases. The thing is, every time I look at these cases all I see is a thin little flimsy looking thing. I currently have the MirrorCase and it failed me by letting my back glass break when my baby knocked it out of my hand and on to some tile.
I was going to go for the Otterbox Defender Series, but their case is littered with complaints on how the notch removed for the camera control has left people with replacing their screen protectors dozens of times.
I was looking into the Otterbox Lumen Case since it is a newer one that addressed the notch problem, but upon inspecting it I couldn’t see anything about it that looked like special engineering for better protection. It looked like a monomaterial design no different than any basic plastic cover for a phone. The fact that they claim it is 3 times the rate of a military drop test seems like a huge stretch.
I looked at the video that tested dozens of phone cases dropped from a 50 foot tower onto concrete and honestly it was surprising how some of them survived, considered most of them looked like these flimsy little plastic pieces. I was looking at the Mous Limitless 6.0, the Spigen ToughArmor, and UAG Monarch & Pathfinder and honestly they didn’t look like anything special. Only the Spigen ToughArmor looked like maybe there was something extra put inside it for protection. I looked at Rhinoshield and I was not impressed by theirs. I get that quite a few of these have built things in to protect from corner drops very well, but I have found that it is always the face drops that mess up my phones.
Is there any other renowned cases out there like the Otterbox Defender Series? With toddlers running around my house, I want to make sure I am protected from drop accidents and not have to make an expensive repair. I don’t care if it is a thick brick of a case in my pocket, I’d prefer that to feel safe about the protection of the phone.
Do robust protection cases exist anymore? Or is all about thin and flashy looking cases that you hope protect well these days?

What’s the best iPhone 16 Pro case if you’re someone that keeps dropping their phone?
I am looking for durability.
Hello I just jumped from my 7 year old iPhone 7 plus to the 16 Pro. What's the best case to purchase and your experiences with said case? Update: So I decided to go with this one from Best Buy https://www.bestbuy.com/site/zagg-crystal-palace-snap-case-lite-iphone-16-pro-clear/6589947.p?skuId=6589947
I dropped my 16 Pro in an Otterbox Defender case today, and it struck the curb at the exposed section of the screen edge (for the action button). I never use the action button, so I’d actually be fine with something that covers it entirely.
Back when I had a 2020 SE, I dropped it all the time, had phone cases from RedBubble and Claire’s (respectively), and it didn’t shatter once. This happened in the first 3 months of having a 16, and the case in question was Velvet Caviar. It fell out of my pocket onto the sidewalk. I figure the difference is more because of the raised camera and general design, but I’m still pretty mad. Not sure, but either way it’ll be expensive as all hell to get fixed, and I’d like to prevent that from happening again.
I’ve just upgraded to the 16 pro and got the Ringke Onyx case. I like everything about it except for the fact that it gets lower in the middle so doesn’t offer good coverage with a screen protector on as the screen protector rises above the case. Can anybody recommend a case that offers good coverage with a screen protector fitted please? Ideally with full coverage around the back of the camera like the ringke case has too. Budget is £20 or under. Thank you!
Hey everyone,
I recently got my hands on the new iPhone 16 Pro Titanium Black and I’m on the hunt for a solid case to protect my investment. While Apple cases are great, I’m curious about other options that offer excellent protection, style, and functionality.
I finally updated my iPhone 12 and got the new iPhone 16 Pro. I had an otterbox x popsocket case that I loved, I used it the whole time I had the phone. It was a little cracked and chipped by the end but it was perfect. Protected my phone great - I could throw it, drop it whatever and have no issue. Plus the popsocket was indented so it would be less wobbly on a surface. Also it had a nice design. Sadly they don’t make those cases anymore so I’m wondering about other cases that are AS protective but look good. Also is there a good popsocket solution these days? Are the $30/35 MagSafe popsockets worth it?
sn: I don’t see myself using MagSafe much if at all, I like being able to hole my phone while it’s charging and don’t care about plugging it in.
I’ve been looking all week for a case for my 16 pro in Desert Titanium but I can’t seem to find the right one… looking for a minimalistic case from a good brand.
I had a Mous Limitless Walnut for my iPhone XS and loved it, I dropped my phone a ton and it’s still running very smoothly, and without a scratch.
Many a drop on tile or concrete where I was like “fuuuuuuu…. For sure that broke my screen”. Nope, not a scratch.
I just upgraded to a iPhone 16 Pro, but I hear there is a lot of contention between a case with and without the cutout.
I’m looking at getting the Mous Limitless 6.0 Walnut with the cutout, but I hear that’s a point of failure. Given I drop the phone a lot I’m worried it’ll break.
The Limitless versions without the cutout, I hear are flimsy now? So not sure if would offer the same protection?
Wondering which case now has the best drop protection, for the iPhone 16 Pro
So i am going for an Iphone 16 plus, from an Android device, and I am kinda paranoid about breaking the camera lens and the screen (I have dropped my Android phone some time, but had a good case). I don't want to use the cam lens protector since many recommended not to (it traps dust and might lead to scratches too). So i wanted to know which protective case is good for the protection, especially drop protection.
Edit: I have selected few of the cases, like Spigen Tough armour, ESR (one from Amazon), Nillkin camshield. I would like some reviews about the Nillkin and ESR too.
I an trying to buy a new case but not sure what to choose
Hello! I will be buying an Iphone 16 Pro - Natural Titanium very soon and I would like to get a light but strong case for it.
Do you have any good suggestions for me?
Thank you so much in advance!

Hi everyone, I am looking to buy myself a good case for my new iPhone 16 since I am prone to dropping my phone quite often. My budget is around 50$ and I would prefer if the case DOES NOT have a cutout.
What are your experiences? Any advice/recommendations are appreciated!
I've never pre ordered a phone before but I'm doing it this time. I know case manufacturers are given dimensions so cases are available as soon as the phone comes out. But how do you know which is a good one since nobody has tested them yet? Any brands people really like that one could hope to assume would work well with the new model? I really want to make sure I have a case right away once it comes.
I have the iPhone 16 pro, and when I got the phone I got their silicone phone case. Well it’s been a few months and I’ve done tore it up. Idk what I even did to tear and chip the sides but I guess I’m more rough with my phone than I thought. For context I’m a stay at home mom and my phone gets moved around the house constantly since not all my clothes have pockets so I usually just carry it by hand. I was originally looking at the Tech21 FlexPro case with the wristlet but the only color I want is unavailable to ship(the neon green). The wristlet was gonna be a great bonus but like I said it isn’t available in the color I really really want. So I was wondering what would yall recommend for a phone case that’s super durable, long lasting, and MagSafe?
