I’ve tried dozens of different ones and always ended up returning them to Amazon. Finally went with the Rokform rugged case about 2 months ago, and I absolutely love it. I ordered the Rokform crystal case and slim case today but I’m not quite as excited to try those out. I’ve never had much luck with the clear cases. They all cover enough of the camera plateau to be useful. Ordered some Torras lens protectors to keep the lenses covered for that extra bit of protection and they don’t affect image quality at all. I’d say it definitely falls into the strong but slim category. For toughest case, if I needed something tougher, I’d order the dbrand tank

Regarding scratchgate, i’m looking for a minimal style case that will provide protection for the phone while also protecting the “sharp” raised edge of the camera bump as that is most susceptible to scratches.
