oh my god does the Cutie Honey live action movie rule. It's directed by Anno and he doesn't hold back on the anime bits at all. It's the first thing that comes to mind when someone brings up LA anime because it takes it completely literal. It's a live action adapation of every single gesture and gimmick that exists in anime and manga.
