I'm an SEO on Fiverr with about 3-5 clients monthly for my keyword research gig. Using SEM rush and Ahrefs is a bit expensive. Can you suggest the best keyword research tools out there under $50/month? Thanks
I know the most popular ones are Semrush and Ahrefs but they can be quite expensive.
I’m currently using Mangools for about $29/month but their daily keyword research limit is quite annoying.
Any suggestions?
I know there are free tools as well, but they’re quite limited.

Keyword research has evolved so much over the years, and I’m curious to know what methods you all are using these days. Are you relying on traditional tools like Google Keyword Planner and Ahrefs, or have you found newer techniques or tools that are working better for you? How do you balance search volume, competition, and intent when selecting keywords?
Would love to hear your strategies and insights!
I used to use Ahrefs and had some really great results off the back of doing keyword research on it. However, it’s now too expensive for my new project. I have also used the keyword tool that Google has to offer on Adwords, but I don’t find it that good or accurate. I have tried asking ChatGPT but the results are very mixed and again, inaccurate and sometimes even contradictory.
Any tips on good ones that work well and are free or cheap? Thanks
Which ones have been successful for your blogs? (free or paid)
How do you perform your keyword research? Are you using any free or paid tools?
I generally follow my gut feeling with keywords. I just brainstorm a list together with related words on a specific keyword. Then I also transform them in long tail keywords. I use / [keyword] in google search to see what is often searched for.
So, no real tools, but I wonder if I miss out. What do you use?
There are many software, some better, some worse. According to your experience, please suggest the most accurate and feature-rich software. Thank you!
I'm a freelance copywriter working in some highly competitive industries. I had access to an SEMRush account, but that arrangement has finished and I'm hesitant to take on the full cost of the account myself (workflow can be a bit up-and-down at the moment).
I mostly use it for keyword research and competitor research.
What are your favourite tools? I've read all the comparisons with Ahrefs, Moz, etc. but I'm keen to hear personal experiences with these tools for this particularl purpose. TIA.
I am beginner at the field of SEO. I have found many tools for free keyword research but can anyone suggeste me something like SEMRUSH which gave me K/D and search volume for free at leat 30-50 keywords per day? Thanks you.
I run a digital product development company and we are looking to approve across a few different vectors. One of them is the way we do early idea validation and something that we see as a really great tool is something that we can use to analyse search traffic for keywords by country.
What would be a platform that you would recommend? Since we are not looking for a full suite of SEO tools and analysis things like SEMrush seem to be a bit overkill, both in terms of features but mostly in terms of costs
Hi,
I am starting to work on my website's SEO and do not have a big budget and would love to use a free keyword research tool that helps me find long tail low competition keywords.
Any free recommendation or are there only paid services?
Keyword Tool Dominator is the closest thing I could find to a completely free tool
I have a budget of 12-15$ per month to pay for the keyword research tool, I’m not a pro in searching the keywords and I usually write with whatever keyword I can find. I’ve watched many videos but still haven’t understood to do proper keyword research.
Please suggest me any tips for a proper keyword research and also the paid tool I can use. Thank you.
Currently im using ubersuggest but anyone can recommend better tools? So can recommend from my company
I've tried ahrefs, it was okay but seemed quite inaccurate.
Any other recommendations?
I'm a web designer and I'm keen on adding some SEO services to the business. I'm currently following a Udemy course to learn more about SEO and there's a focus on Semrush.
Is it considered an industry must-have or are there better (or preferably free!) alternatives for keyword research?
I appreciate there has probably been 1000 posts comparing Ahrefs/Semrush/Moz and other such tools, but I’m struggling to find one that I can use short-term for just keyword research, looking primarily for long-tail keywords and having accurate data on competition and search volume.
I tried the starter subscription of Ahrefs, which came with 100 credits, and roughly 15 minutes later I had used them all…
If I move up to the unlimited credits in standard, it’s £200 a month (about $280 I think). I’d like to pay half of that at most.
The Pro version of Semrush is exactly half of that, but I’ve heard the keyword research tool isn’t as good?
Would anyone have any recommendations please?
