What is the best laptop?
PCWorld calls the Lenovo Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition the best overall laptop. It handles regular stuff pretty easily, the battery can go up to 23 hours if you play your cards right, and the screen's this bright 14-inch 2880x1800 OLED with HDR and a 120Hz refresh rate--it looks top-notch!
What is the best cheap laptop?
The Acer Aspire Go 15 is PCWorld’s favorite budget pick. It’s got an Intel Core i3-N355, a 1080p screen, and a varied port selection.
What is the best gaming laptop?
The Alienware 16X Aurora is a powerful gaming laptop that handles modern games with ease and makes them look amazing. It's got an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU and RTX 5070 graphics, so performance is top-notch without going overboard on price.
Trying to buy a new laptop and I am completely overwhelmed. I know I want:
At least 32gb RAM
At least an i7 or Ryzen 7
SSD
Not convertible/2-in-1
budget around $1,500
I would prefer something with a micro SD or SD slot, but that's not a deal breaker. Laptop will be used at home for work/school, photo editing, watching video.
I keep ending up on Lenovo, but unsure if I should go with ThinkPad, Thinkbook, IdeaPad, or Yoga. This is where I get overwhelmed because each model has different variations, and I am just struggling to keep everything straight. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'll primarily use this for professional work rather than gaming, so display quality and keyboard comfort are also important. Any input is appreciated thanks!

Thoughts on the Asus vivobook pro or the LG gram? Both with i7 evo. Worth considering the surface?

I've done some research, but with so many options available, it can be overwhelming to find the best balance between performance and price.
