Hi everyone, I am looking to buy a quality leather belt for daily usage. It doesn't have be flashy. I live in Canada if that helps and my budget is around $100. Thank you so much!
Any leather belts that can withstand daily use for years without cracking?
Most of my belts fall apart after a couple years and none have costed more than $30.
Been looking around, I like Flint and Tinder belts so far, any you would recommend?
Looking for a simple buckle, preferably gold or black. Want to wear with jeans and maybe with a suit every now and then.
Title says it. Where would you buy a 100% leather belt that’ll last the rest of your life? Thank you!
Hi everyone, I’m in the market for a good quality belt that is in the price range up to $35. I saw this one on tractor supply’s website and it’s a full-grain leather belt. Would you recommend this belt or have any other suggestions on where to search for one within my price range? Thanks!
Starting to notice my 10 year old natural leather belts are getting pretty worn and the company that made them seems to be in the wind. What are good brands for a sturdy, basic, long lasting belt?
Hello all, what is the best full grain belt? Budget is up to $150. I'm looking at
Allen Edmonds
Spier & Mackaye
Charles Tyrwhitt
If anyone has any opinions/experience that would be great!
I feel like belts look like as if it’s just a small part of our outfits, but can really make a difference if you can find the right one!
Do you guys have any belts that you love? Whether it be casual, more stylish, formal, I just want to see what belts are nice to buy!
I’m looking to buy myself a new belt for work and whenever I dress up in a nice suit and tie. All the ones I buy don’t last long.
The current belt I have is a Calvin Klein synthetic leather belt and it’s pretty good but I wanna buy a few more besides this one and was curious which ones you guys like for wearing everyday to the office/work ?
I am looking for a good belt. I have no idea what to look for. I am specifically looking for a not to wide belt. Does anyone have any suggestions.
Wow thanks for al the replies. Didn't expect so many responses.

Full-grain leather is the only choice. I got mine from a leather working shop in the Pike Place Market in Seattle. I specified the width and length, thickness, and number of holes. Cost me $50 about 5 years ago. I'll never need another belt.
Looking at the Saddleback leather belt but at $99 it seems like overkill. What about the LL bean belts. Anyone have good luck with those? Any other suggestions?
I just had a belt buckle literally fall apart in my hands while I was fasting my belt.
Not super surprised because it was a cheap belt that I’ve had for a couple of years, but I’d rather avoid that in the future if I can.
Any suggestions?
Last week's thread on Backpacks | All past threads
Perhaps it's fate that today is the fourth of July. Belts have been the #2 requested topic for so long, it felt like a meme. What, do you people all have custom-tailored trousers with side-adjusters? Do you exclusively wear tuxedos, or suits with suspenders? Why did you have to shun the belt-wearers for so long?
Oh well. Today, they have made their voices heard, and broken free from your oppression. Today, we get to share leather, canvas, braided, suede, dress, casual, plain, ornamental, calf, alligator... All belt styles are equal in the eyes of the _/$ thread! Except for the ones that are better and the ones that are worse.
The 4th of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day when the sub declared in one voice, "we want belts." Today, we celebrate our belt day!
Price Bins:
I'm going to actually leave the middle category here pretty big, since I think there's a huge gap between perfectly good belts around $50-100, and high-end fashion belts. There are good belts in that range, but I don't think there's a huge difference between $150 and $250 belts, for example. I hope that works.

Guidelines for posting here:
-
I'll post price bins as top level comments. Post recommendations in response to a price bin, as a second level comment. You can also use top level comments for general info, inspo albums, and general questions.
-
Try to stick to one brand/strategy per second-level comment. If you want to recommend both Alden and Carmina, post them separately so people can vote and discuss separately.
-
Include a link in your second-level comment if you can -- if not to a purchase page, at least to images.
-
Try to use prices you might realistically pay. That might be MSRP, or it might not -- it depends. If you're in a cheap bin, maybe the best buying strategy is to thrift, or wait for a big sale. If you're buying from a store like Banana Republic, paying full price is simply incorrect -- the only question is whether you'll get 40% off or 50% off. So factor that in.
-
The bins are in USD, so either use a US price, or convert a non-US price to USD to pick the bin.

Hey all, my Thursday brand leather belt fell apart after one year of daily use, do you all recommend a brand that will last years? Thanks in advance
Hopefully this is allowed since the last belt wiki post is from 2018.
My husband has been a 10-year long Allen Edmond's fan for his dress shoes and belts, but recently, we've been running into issues with the belts. Despite the fact that he only goes into work in full suiting once a week, his leather belts are getting destroyed within the year.
What are the top, durable brands out there right now for leather men's belts?
Looking to buy a belt of high quality. Prefer it to be North American made, but I'm not too picky. Be willing to pay up to $100. Suggestions?
Looking for a Genuine Leather Belt with Hole or Holeless type that is available in Canada or can be shipped to Canada.
I have used Anson Belt for the last few years but the buckle broke. Looking for something that will last for years.
