I am done with non removeable cushions on leather couches. Are there any top/full grain leather recliner couches with removeable cushions and good or replaceable springs? I weigh about 200lbs. History below:
I started off with a fairly cheap Art Van compounded leather couch. The seats wore through within 6 months, they replaced them, wore through again and I got rid of it. I then went on to La-Z-Boy and got an expensive top grain leather reclining couch. That lasted a couple years before the springs and cushion were toast where I sat most often. I had to pay about $600 to get replaced and it lasted a few more years but was never the same comfort wise. After that, in 2021, I got a somewhat more moderately priced Flexsteel that had electronic lumbar, headrest, and recliner with top/full grain leather. This ones cushion is starting to go in the area where I sit and it is about $700 to replace the one cushion. I don't even think they can do it at my house they need to pick it up, have it done, then re-deliver it. Sounds like a nightmare
I have no idea what exactly to be searching for, but I need 2 seats on one side, a console, and another seat attached to the other side.
We're looking for a power-reclining leather sofa with a budget of $4,000. However, research is leading me to fear that durability no longer exists for mid-range sofas. Do you know of any good brands for sofas with these features at this price point?
I've seen other posts about sofas, but not so much for power-reclining leather sofas.
The brands we're looking at are Flexsteel, Elran, and Natuzzi, although I've read "quality has gone downhill" comments about all of them. We're located in Colorado. Thanks.
