If you want 15W charging, you need an official Apple MagSafe or Qi2 charger. Obviously official Apple stuff works as intended, and Qi2 is essentially just an open version (created with Apple's assistance) of proprietary MagSafe. A Qi2 charger performs identically to an official MagSafe charger, other than the 25W charging with an iPhone 16 and the newer 25W MagSafe charger. https://pro-fit-intl.com/collections/dodge/products/2013-2019-dodge-caravan-g3-mount or a similar hard mount is the only option in my mind. I hate generic mounts that stick or clip on random parts of the car's dash. ProFit will work, fit, and look better. I have no complaints about my ESR Qi2 charge r, though I use it on my desk rather than as a mount in car. Any certified Qi2 mount should have sufficient magnetic holding strength, but some brands/models might be stronger than others. Then you just need a power supply that meets the requirements of whatever MagSafe/Qi2 charger you end up with - most likely USB-C PD with at least 20W. More on reddit.com

flexing KILLS my phone battery, like beyond anything ive ever seen. i wish i could find a magnetic charger that charged as fast as my wall charger does but i havent been able to find one, so my next best option was the samsung 45 watt car charger, it the ONLY car charger i have found that ultra fast charges my phone. i make sure its fully charged before i start my routes and plug it in if i have a longer than 5 min between stops. ive had my phone die before on routes in the middle of nowhere az due to aelf claimed fast chargers not being able to provide enough power. I recently changed from an iPhone XR to an iPhone 15 Plus. I have an official MagSafe case on it. I’d like to get a good wireless charger (not just holder) for my vehicle. I have a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan.
Can anyone recommend some good specific models (with a link would be nice) that would support the fast charging, fit in the vehicle, hold the phone strongly magnetically, and also possibly suggestions on where/how to mount it?
Also, are there specific things I should look for or be wary of?
If anyone has this vehicle, there doesn’t seem to be a lot of space, so I’d guess windshield, cigarette lighter, or vent are the only mounting options. I’d prefer not vents, as I’ve head poor things about them, but what are your thoughts and experiences? Maybe they’d be fine? Any serious suggestions welcome. I just want a good quality device, but there are so many options, it’s a bit overwhelming.

I have the ESR MagSafe with fan, it does stick out a bit further than then other MagSafe ones and it supports Qi2, it’s recommended you have a 20 watt charger for it and it has been doing a good job so far ESR MagSafe Qi2 Cryoboost
