I bought two casetify cases for my iPhone 13 and the sides are coming off after using them less than a year

Hey folks, I work in a steel mill and my MagSafe otterbox case is constantly attracting a ring of steel dust on the backside. I’m curious if anyone knows of a non-magnetic phone case I can find to prevent this issue? No matter what I google, every single decent phone case is MagSafe compatible.

I’ve been using my iPhone 13 Pro Max and a mous case cover for almost three years now, and my old case has finally started to show its age; scratches all over the back and generally worn out. I think it’s time for a replacement!

I’ve been looking at the Spigen Ultra Hybrid MagSafe (Zero One), but before I make a decision, I wanted to ask: what cases are you all using for your iPhone 13 Pro Max? Any recommendations or personal favorites you’d suggest?

Does wireless charging with Apple’s MagSafe Wireless Charger work with the Otterbox commuter?

I kept the clear, apple original magsafe case and I retired it about a year ago because it basically fell apart (it barely yellowed!). Does anybody know a good alternative that is on par with apple’s original clear magsafe case? Apple seems to not be producing it anymore (unlike the iphone 13 for some reason).

And can you guys give me general recommendations for smooth, silicone cases? I want to switch up the color of my phone cases, but the magsafe feature is very weak with some cases, even if they advertise their magsafe to be “much stronger” than others.

      I finally got a 13 Pro Max in Alpine Green. I wanted that color since its release. I’m trying to figure out the right case for me. 

      I’m looking for a tough case (drop protection), with strong MagSafe connection, good grip and that isn’t slippery from a company with good customer service or a warranty- preferably that shows off or accents the green of my phone. I know that is asking a lot of a case, but that’s what I’m trying to find.

      In the past I have used LifeProof, Catalyst, Incipio and Speck cases. LifeProof broke in the corners and over time the sides cracked. Catalyst was great but I didn’t have MagSafe at the time. Speck was good but TPU and soft touch materials peeled and the edges cracked. Incipio (Duo present case) has been good but is one of the bulkier cases I’ve had and has started to get a few cracks.  I’m hard on cases and every one that I’ve had was replaced out of necessity at some point- several by manufacturers.

      Right now I’m looking at Casetify (Ultra Impact or Bounce), Incipio grip, Mous Limitless 4.0, Speck Presidio2 Grip or Perfect Clear, Phone Rebel gen 3 (Rebel, Frosted or clear) or the Catalyst Vibe. 

      Any input on the cases or suggestions is appreciated.
