I've tried a Pietro Pro Brew, ZP6, and C40. Out of those my favorite for pour over is the Pietro, the coffee that it produces is fantastic if you love that style of coffee. I'm probably in the minority that prefers the C40 to the ZP6. Both grinders are great but I find that I get more delicious cups from the C40 than the ZP6. Answer from BVsaPike on reddit.com

Watch Lance Hedrick's video on the subject. Very few if any of us in this subreddit have the luxury of trying more than maybe 2-3 of the available hand grinders on the market. Having said that, I use a ZP6 and have absolutely no regrets and no interest in upgrading, for what it's worth

I have the Comandante C40! James Hoffman and Lance Hedrick both have great videos on comparing the big names. I like my C40 for pour over and espresso, I never upgraded to the red clicks. My primary brews are pour over.

I'm looking to buy a high-end manual grinder for my setup.
I don't care to pay any extra money, if the quality or ease of use (& maintenance) increases and portability stays.
Furthermore, I want the best quality possible for pour over, I'm willing to overpay if the grinder is for espresso too, but doesn't downgrade in pour over taste cause of that.
Currently, with a little research, I'm between 1zpresso K-Ultra & Commandante C40 MK4.
Also, some people say that 1zpresso ZP6 achieves better for pour over only. Anyone can verify that?
I know for sure that I like medium & light roasts, but I aim at trying various roasts, specialty or not.
What are your recommendations?

If your aim is to try various roasts and processes, the ZP6 would not be suitable. The ZP6 excels in light roasts and imo it does washed coffees better than highly processed coffees. On the other hand the K ultra works well with various roasts and processes.

I am looking for a hand grinder for pourover only. Mostly so I can drink freshly ground coffee wherever I go.
My main concern is that it should feel premium and is pleasant to use. I have a Niche Zero which I really enjoy as it is well made, easy to use and looks great on my countertop. I'm not too concerned about taste, I'm pretty sure most premium grinders that are pleasant to use will make decent coffee. Money is not really an issue either, as long as it's cheaper than the Niche.
So which grinders are really enjoyable and give you a smile when you use them?

1ZPresso KUltra is typically the most solid recommendation for this use-case, and can also go to the espresso range. The ZP6 is specialized on pour over, so perhaps you wanna check on that. If you want something a bit tinier or portable, you might wanna consider the Q Series, which is famous to fit inside of an aeropress, not pour over, but very very portable.
