Hello!
I'm new to mechanical keyboards, I own Keychron K1 which is low profile and I love it. But I would like to explore this whole wonderful world of switches, modding and cool keycaps. That's why I would like to have something with extremly good build quality, WIRELESS (it is important to me) and black :) that's it! Right now I'm thinking about Keychron K8 Pro (I really like Q3, but it is wired and Q3 Pro looks very strange with this buttons on the lest side) or NuPhy (I've heard that they are extremly good, but they don't have 80% keyboard, which makes me avoid this choise). Also I've heard that there is such keyboard as Zoom TKL (hope I am write) which has decent quality and has good customization, but as I understand it is very hard to get one and it is shipped dissasembled.
So, I hope to hear some advices:) will apreciate anything)

Hi there,
I'm researching to buy a smaller keyboard for under £50 (I live in the UK).
The main use would be work, including coding, but I'll use the same keyboard to play PC games.
The ideal size would be 75%, but if a good 80% is presented, it would be fine.
I'm not familiar with mechanical keyboards: for my work PC I use an HP "classic" membrane keyboard, and my laptops have normal "slim/scissor" keyboards (one PC, one Mac).
I'm willing to go with a mechanical and having hot-swap would be nice to be able to maybe try some different config in the future. But, if it's impossible to have a good mechanical for this price, I will need to go and find a membrane one.
I already did a lot of research (including r/BudgetKeebs) and so far found these that meet the criteria:
| Brand | Name | Keys | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cherry | CHERRY G84-4100 | 75% | £45.94 |
| E-Yooso | E-Yooso Mechanical Gaming Keyboard | 75% | £39.99 |
| Havit | Mechanical Gaming Keyboard UK | 80% | £40.99 |
| Cherry | Cherry G80-3000N | 80% | £44.99 |
| ROYAL KLUDGE | STK61 | 60% | £34.1 |
| Redragon | Redragon K552 | 80% | £38.99 |
| LOGITECH | LOGITECH G413 SE TKL | 80% | £44.99 |
| CIY | CIY X77 | 80% | £49.99 |
| Acer | ACER Nitro TKL Gaming Keyboard | 80% | £48.99 |
| ADX | ADX Firefight TKL Wireless Mechanical | 80% | £24.97 |
| Marvo | KG953W-UK | 80% | £26.72 |
| Steelseries | STEELSERIES Apex 3 TKL | 80% | £49.99 |
| Perixx | PERIBOARD-609 | 80% | £14.99 |
| Perixx | Perixx PERIBOARD-613B | 80% | £34.99 |
So, between these choices, any recommendations? Brands to run away from or something like that?
Other than these any other nice contenders?
One last thing that worries me with wireless/Bluetooth keyboards is the battery, I wouldn't want to keep replacing the whole keyboard because the battery is dead. How easy is it to find a replacement battery to buy? Are they kind of "standard" or each brand has its own battery packs and I need to start researching this, too?
Thanks!
So.. I just broke my fnatic ministreak and I wanted to change it, but I don't really know anything about good keyboards.
I was wondering if any of you could help me get a good keyboard for around 80€, that is 80% and can last for years.
