I'm newly graduated and started working full time making decent money. Looking into elevating my wardrobe a bit while not spending outrageous amounts of money on clothes (I'm not spending 500 dollars on polyester pants). Right now my go-to places are mainly thrifting, Uniqlo, Abrecrombie, Hollister, and Winners.
I'm a software engineer so don't need anything work specific. I'd describe my style as a mix of "old money" and "street-wear lite" (I don't like flashy logos but like the styling). I also prefer natural materials when possible (100% cotton, wool, and leather etc)
Places I'm eyeing at the moment are places like KOTN, COS, and Stussy. Any other stores that fit this criteria? Bonus points if there's a retail location!

Men's clothing store suggestions
Funnily enough, there was a guide for shopping for clothing in Canada posted on /r/MFA just yesterday (which is kinda an update to the previous version).
It really comes down to what style you're looking for though.
Banana Republic and J. Crew have good button down/up shirts, but you have to wait for the sales to get them at a decent price (they have something like 40% off pretty much every week).
Levis have good jeans for a decent price here (albeit they aren't quite on the level of something like Naked and Famous).
Shoes really depend on the look you're going for. I personally like Boat Shoes for summer, Desert Boots for fall, and "Work Boots" for winter, but there are a ton of other options out there.
H&M can be great for find stuff, but keep in mind that it is a fast fashion brand and doesn't have the greatest durability.
Queen Street West has a ton of smaller stores if you're looking for something specific
As for the fit issues, I highly recommend checking out this guide. It's getting a bit long in the tooth, but it still has fantastic advice for people with athletic builds.

Hey folks! Older dude looking for quality men’s clothing stores. Kinda bored with what’s out there . I like design and prefer something unique but comfortable. I don’t do Harry Rosen and am not looking for casual upscale or big box stores bc I already know them. I mix urban, thrift, upscale, low-key design, functional and casual all into one messy outfit. Think urban NYC (I can hear the cringe 😹). Help!! And thanks
