November 17, 2024Looking for Recommendations: Best Mobile App Analytics Tool (Mixpanel, UXCam, Smartlook, Amplitude?)
PostHog, I honestly haven’t found a more developer friendly solution out there. And it’s also open source, so you can self-host it if you have strict privacy concerns. I think it took me like 2 days to set it up and connect it to the product at work (which is built with Flutter) and it took me a day to connect it to my side-project (which is a web app, not Flutter) but to be fair PostHog works really well with websites, but it’s not too bad with Flutter (except windows flutter applications for some reason) More on reddit.com

We started using Pendo a few years ago. The analytics are OK. The killer app for product teams is that, a business user can post “hovering contemt” (my made up term) without IT intervention. We use it for messages like : system issues and status if there is a problem new features announcements because The announcement can be placed precisely. More on reddit.com

Behavioral data can be analyzed based on correlating clicks, swipes, views and other usage stats based on user profiles, segmentation/cohorts, retention, funnel/event tracking and A/B testing.
