I make my toddler muffins a lot (helps to get some veggies in and honestly it’s probably 50% of his calories), but don’t want to use silicone (heard concerns about heating it up), obviously don’t want nonstick, prefer not using muffin liners all the time, but a little unsure about the stainless steel options on Amazon. All of them seem to be 18/0 stainless (the weakest) and curious why no one more reputable than Amazon is selling them and why no sturdier options are available.

Is there something I’m missing as to why target, William Sonoma, etc don’t sell stainless steel muffin pans? Any recommendations that I may have missed?? Thanks friends!

Just realized my nonstick muffins pans are all scratched up so its time to switch them out. Anyone here have experience with stainless steel pans? Do they stick? Are ceramic a good option? Would also like to avoid spending a ton as i dont make muffins often

I’m hoping someone with experience with one has a specific model or brand of cast iron muffin pan they’d recommend.

I use cast iron skillets and loaf pans a lot, both cooking and bread making, so I have a basic idea what I’m doing and know how to care for them.

The lodge ones are attractive but the cup sizes are small. I’d prefer something with more conventional sized cups. Ideally 6-8 cups total. I’d mostly be using them for muffins, cornbread, and Yorkshire puddings.

I have only baked cookies, cupcakes/muffins, banana cake, cake (those from boxes yknow), and cheesecakes. I wanted better pans to bake cakes, breads, and other pastries or goodies. Might aswell try on pies. Any recommendations I should buy?

I've seen the usual metal ones (which is fine cuz I use cake goop), I've seen metal ones that come with parchment liners, and I've seen both silicone liners and metal-framed with silicone cups (1 pce)

I've read silicone sweats as they cool and have to be removed asap...anyone have an opinion on muffin tins?

I want cupcake/muffin pans with 24 cavities for standard sized cupcakes and one with 24-48 cavities for mini cupcakes. I want cookie sheets that will bake/brown the cookies as evenly as possible.

Do cheap vs expensive muffin pans matter? I’d like to buy a mini muffin pan and the price range is from $12-$40. Does one “perform” better than others? Hoping to bake muffins for kids, so not using harmful chemicals in pans is important to me, but I don’t know what else is important when picking muffin pans.

I make oven baked eggs a lot in them. I spray non stick spray but it leaves a weird spray/food residue I cant get off.

For those who make a lot of egg bites (to make a bunch and then freeze), what kind of muffin tin is the best nonstick option? I'd like silicone especially if they can go in the dishwasher but am not sure if they are nonstick or if butter/oil need to still be added. Thank you!

Hi! I am having the hardest time deciding on a muffin tin. I am currently choosing between an aluminum pan from Nordic Ware, or a stainless steel pan from TeamFar. I like that nordic ware seems high quality, but I really wanted to avoid aluminum if possible. However, I am also hesitant to shop from an Amazon brand. I am very torn and wish there were more options! Just wondering if anyone has thoughts on either option—thanks!

I really want to get away from chemicals as much as I can. But it seems there aren’t any name brand stainless muffin pans and they all are random brands on Amazon.

Which (if any of these) would you recommend as the best choice for someone interested in experimenting more with baking?

I’m on the hunt for a muffin pan to make my one year old some copy cat Starbucks egg bites. I bought an “all natural” aluminum muffin pan on a whim, but now I have concerns about aluminum leeching into the food. I’m debating on returning it to get something else, but what would be a better option?
