We have been just testing this today with many different setups the best so far for farming inferium is the following: Layer 1: 9x9 insanium farmland with modular router in the center(with a scythe with activator module up and down) surrounded by 2 rows of lilipads of fertility. Layer -1: same layout but with a slab in the center Layer -2: lilipads of fertility only 11x11 Layer -3 to -50: growth accelerators This is only for farming inferium, if you want to farm something else use fertilized farmland which is obtained by right clicking normal farmland with red fertilizer. I've recently been going through the Mekanism: Reactors questline when I realized thag I should have made something like this AGES ago

If anyone has any suggestions on any mystical agriculture farms, that would be great. I'm currently running a basic setup of inferium seeds with a harvester pylon, as well as some growth blocks and the crop base blocks from pneumaticraft on some inferium farmlands (which I plan to upgrade soon)

John Hall and Chosen Architect on Youtube each have videos on the set up (I'm sure there are others they are the ones I watched). Set up a 9x9 area with a water-logged harvester pylon in the center and some type of inventory on top (drawer if only doing inferium essence, chest with stack upgrades for a mixed farm). Set up a checkerboard pattern of farmland with red fertilizer and AE2 growth accelarators. Place a resonance generator under each growth accelerator to power them. You can also add growth accelerators around the border, but I found that unnecessary. Feed the Harvester Pylon hoes until you can make an unbreakable hoe (I made a supremium hoe once I had the resources). You can use a modular router with a scythe to harvest the crops faster as the harvesting is the bottleneck here, but the harvester pylon works pretty good. With this set up, I started with Inferium seeds in each of the 40 farmland and changed some of the farmland to resource seeds as needed. I find that with this set up 1 of each seed is plenty and I often take a seed out to make room for more as I have plenty of that essence already.

I want to automate all the available seeds and so I am looking for interesting setups to do.

- I tried the garden cloche, I don't think it's great, quite slow.

- The Phytogenic Insolator is better but consumes more energy and requires upgrades.

- Farmlands with lilypas of fertility, pylon and watering can give me a lot of essence but require a lot more space, so unless I make a tower or take several chunks I don't see how to do it. This is the version I would like to go for but I don't find it very optimized to make a field with one seed of each for example. It's not very practical to find your way around.

And what about end game setup ?

So if you have any recommendations / proposals I'm interested

How do you define best? If by best you mean most output, then fertilized dirt, tier 3 growth crystal, and as many growth accelerators underneath as you can. Use the Ender IO farming station for harvesting since it doesn't remove the plant and doesn't require replanting like the AA Farmer does. You could also use mechanical users on each plant to harvest. The above is going to be super laggy though, so you may want to move it several chunks away or in another dimension. I don't understand why you would want to avoid the Cloche. It is the best farm for any plant, and is better on performance than a regular farm.

Ok so I want to build a Mystical agriculture Farm but i dont know what crops i shouold do. I dont really need any ores bc i permanently have a chunk destroyer running and i get my allthemodium/vibranium/unobtainium from bees. i thought maybe i should do silicon but then again i can just smelt some quartz, the only crop i can think of could maybe be the rubber Essence one but i dont know if there are other ones that i should also get. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Diamond, squid, fish and prismarine seeds will give you essence that can make hearts of the sea which are used in the top tier productivity upgrades for your bees. Chicken essence can craft eggs. Cow essence can craft milk which is otherwise a bit annoying to get. Depending on the version, skeleton essence might be useful in the process of making mob heads for ender io.

Certus quartz and Fluix Crystals for AE2, quartz, lots of inferium for supremium and insanium, allthemodium, elemental essences for random blocks that you may want like red sand for example, the materials for powah generators like blazing crystals are useful if you don’t have an AE2 auto crafting setup to energize the materials.

Hello everyone, it’s my first time playing ATM and the Mystical Agriculture is an amazing MOD! I know that is usually in every modpack out there so I was wondering what is the most effective way to grow the seeds, if it’s either creating a Mystical Agriculture FARM with lilipads of fertility or using the Hydroponic Beds from Industrial Foregoing?

Also, if you know any other way or mods to use and make it more effective let me know! (:

If you want to go simple I would suggest maybe Botany Pot Tiers if you have that mod on or Garden Cloches but I personally created a 17x17 field of lilypads of fertility and placed my red fertilized farmland above which created an insane amount of essence for dim seed, etc.

The 9x9 farm with AE2 growth accelerators (not MA growth accelerators) is great for early to mid game. You may need a second farm if you need more than the 40 farmland, but 1 of each seed should be plenty to start.
