August 12, 2024 - If I could choose any neighborhood, it would be Pacific Heights. The restaurant scene is one of the finest in the city. And Fillmore Street, with its great boutiques and shopping, is also one of the best in the city in terms of walkability.

1 month ago - My go-to spots in the Marina: Crissy Field Beach, Cafe Reveille (for coffee and brunch), Bonita (Mexican Food), Delarosa (best pizza), Celeste (wine bar and pita) and Palm House (the best cocktails) ... The Mission in San Francisco is colorful, lively, and full of great food, especially Mexican food. Murals cover the walls, local shops line the streets, and the neighborhood has a strong creative energy and Latin Vibe.

Most of the bay cruises leave from here, one of the best things to do in San Francisco, imo. The Alcatraz ferries for a visit to Alcatraz Island are a short walk from here, and you can rent bikes to cross the bridge or Go Cars to see the city on your own with GPS guidance. Ghirardelli Square is in Fisherman's Wharf as well. And the North Beach neighborhood next door to the Wharf has a great selection of authentic, old-time Italian restaurants and cafes.
