Looking to get some recommendations on the best credit card for my current situation. I live in Toronto and I recently started travelling a lot so I went all in on Air Canada/Aeroplan and now have accumulated about 175k points between me and my wife. I have an AMEX Aeroplan Reserve (Currently on 2nd year with the card) with an extra card for my wife, and I also have a CapitalOne World Elite MC (1.5% cashback towards travel purchases) and so does my wife.
Paying yearly $599 + $199 for my AMEX + supplemental card and $130 for the Capital One
As I continue to do more travelling, I might be interested in a credit card with good exchange rates as I always use credit card for purchases while travelling.
I plan on cancelling my AMEX at the end of my 2nd year in September, and also want to replace my Mastercard for something with better benefits or exchange rates.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Hey all 👋, I live in Ontario and I’m trying to find a credit card with no annual fee (or free year) that gives either travel rewards (for vacations / all-inclusive trips) or cash back.
Here’s what I’m after:
A card available to Canadians / Ontario residents.
No yearly fee or free year.
Either decent rewards/points for travel, or solid cash back on regular purchases.
I rather use the points towards all inclusive packages vs flight/hotel
If you have any cards you love whether points or cash back, I’d love to hear your experiences. Thanks!
I have Wealthsimple card and I’m looking to have a backup card for travel (to Europe particularly) with no foreign exchange fees. I don’t need fancy access to lounge and preferable no annual fee. Just looking for a basic simple card. Any recommendations?
