Ok so for what you’re describing(commuting, zoom n all) you really dont need to spend all that. Like ofc bose n sony are good but theyre more for people who are very specific about the bass and similar stuff so unless youre like that too, you should go for other amazon dupes. Like treblab is pretty cheap and these over ear ones would be sufficient for your reqs acc to me. They cover all the basics but nothing is over the top so youd get a pretty decent experience. For ANC you will most probably end up with a wireless model. From expensive to cheap you could consider T+A solitaire - highly rated. B&O H100 - good, but will struggle to out perform headsets that are half the price. Mark Levinson 5909 - coming along. Design is a personal taste. Dali IO12 - lovely feel on your head, sound great. Master and dynamic M75 Focal bathys - haven't tried them yet. Bowers and Wilkins PX8 - very crisp and defined sound Cambridge Audio Melomania P100 - cheapest of this non exhaustive list and the one I have. Punches above its weight. The list is not exhaustive, but if you're spending that kind of money(no budget mentioned), then listening to them is advised, since the sound profiles, sound stage, head feel and other features do differ quite a bit.
