There are natural oil you can use. personally i have used rosemary oil, castor oil and argan oil and have gotten result with them but nothing beat raw batana oil that has no additives. For me i started seeing baby hair in a matter of a few weeks using batana and my hair growth has been on the incline ever since. The cool thing is i got it from this brand vanabatana.c⁤om who gave me additional hair growth serum for fr⁤ee when i got their raw batana oil. The hair growth serum contained essential oil like batana oil, rosemary oil, argan and castor oil. All these are oil that promote healthy new hair growth. The be⁤st way to apply it is to use it over night so that your scalp will bask in the potency of the oil. If i am not going out i just leave the raw batana oil in to keep doing it job. The serum is my go to when leaving the house as it does not have a lot of unbearable scent. Answer from Hot-King-422 on reddit.com

r/Haircare on Reddit: Which are the best natural oils for hair?
July 22, 2021 -

Hello,

I used to have thick, long hair and over the years it has become incredibly thin and difficult to grow. I don't like buying non-natural or additional treatments for my hair so am looking into applying natural oils (coconut? almond? etc etc)

Which oils are best for thicker, healthier hair and why? Is there a particular way of applying oils (I am planning on rubbing oil in before shampooing but is that even the best way to do it?)

Thanks!

Look into the Hair Chronogram (or Capillary Schedule/CC). It consists of a set number of applications of commercial masks or diy recipes with the scope of returning to your hair what it has lost, depending of course on your hair’s specific needs. This is done by using and applying three types of ingredients, after which are named the stages of the CC: Hydrating (gel, panthenol, glycerin and extract based): for example glycerin, aloe vera gel; maximum twice a week; Nourishing (oil and butter based): for example several types of plant derived oils, including the most basic olive oil; maximum once a week; Reconstructive (protein based): for example rice water (diy), keratin, egg yolks; maximum twice a month; Unfortunately I have not been able to find an exhaustive and complete online source (since it's actually a brazilian thing), but I will link those that have helped me: A good introduction to the CC, also has an extensive list of ingredients to look for when buying (or diy-ing) hair masks - perhaps the most in-depth guide I have found. Many useful diy recipes here, starting from a generic hair mask This link provides other infos Build your own CC schedule but know that yes, porosity does play a part in this, but you also need to feel and investigate your hair to understand what to apply on your hair. Other things I have read online: the CC can be done for up to six months; you will then have to pause for a month before, in case, starting again. You might also want to do it for only a month or two depending on your needs; as you proceed with the CC, you want to adjust the schedule to suit what your hair needs, which could differ from month to month; the program follows how many times you want to wash your hair weekly, it doesn't have to strictly be three times a week, though that is suggested. Just look at the notes in italics I have left above and build your own schedule. So far I have been having great results with this. I hope the CC can help you as well. :)
