Does anyone in the UK have a real life shop that they like going to browse stationery in? I really miss shops like Paperchase and the bigger WH Smith's where you could actually get a sense of what you were buying - but where there was a lot of choice. I'm near Manchester, but travel to Liverpool and the north east a lot of work - I'd love to know if you have any tips!

Fred Aldous in Manchester, Leeds and Sheffield. Not all stationery but enough that you’d likely enjoy it. I’ve never been to their physical stores but The Journal Shop (London), All Things Analogue (Eastbourne) and Art from the Heart (Harrogate) would be worth checking out based on their online offerings. Edited to add: not as exciting but department stores like John Lewis are also worth a shout.

Agenzo was a poor quality imitation of Leuchtturm1917. The 120gsm edition is even better. If you didn't know about CultPens, then I don't know where to start. 🤯

Cult Pens is my go-to for stationery (mostly pens and art pencils, but they have a lot more than that) Jackson's Art has a selection, though more art focused than journalling All Things Analogue has a bunch of notebook options (including Traveler's Notebook which Cult Pens also has, but all things analogue is a partner store which means they get special stuff) Miso Paper for a few more unusual options/Japanese imports
