Have any of you ever thrifted home furniture art decor or clothes online? I recently attended an art exhibition where the topic of using refurbished and second-hand items came up. I hadn’t considered it before, but it turns out you can beautifully furnish your home with pre-loved items while reducing waste and saving money.
Now, I’m eager to explore this market for myself. I’d love to hear about your experiences with finding refurbished and second-hand products online since they're hard to come by near my hometown. I check for moving or estate sales as opposed to specific items. (Try Kijiji, Facebook, online or newspaper.) Years ago found one where I picked up several plants, a desk, etc. & a couple expensive taylor made suits that just happened to fit me for around $20 or $30 for both. (Her husband put on a few pounds.) That was a good day.
