Once or twice I've gotten something that is visibly damaged to the point where I would not want to be the owner, and I had gotten some open boxes where the device does not work at all. So I was looking at the prices for the Sony ht-a5000 soundbar at bestbuy and on sale it’s $699 but as open box it’s $330 would it be worth getting it open box instead? Has anyone bought a sound bar open box and how’s your guys experience with open box soundbars?

I got the soundbar and rears open box excellent (warranty as well). Paid retail for sub. Got the whole setup for around $1000.
