For example NZXT mostly resells SeaSonic. ASUS uses SeaSonic and FSP. BeQuiet uses FSP. EVGA used to have an exclusive contract with SuperFlower, but with Trump's trade war that ended and SuperFlower sells directly. There are two important things to know about PSUs: One: Many PSUs are not actually made by the company that has their name on the side. Corsair and EVGA, for example, don't make their own PSUs, they just apply their branding to units made by others. There are a few companies where the name on the side of the box is actually the company that produced the unit, such as Superflower and Seasonic, but many PSUs are made by third parties like Great Wall that typically don't have name brand recognition in the West. Also, companies like Seasonic make PSUs for other brands as well as their own PSUs. So for example, both the NZXT E series and the Phanteks AMP! series of PSUs are (mostly) actually made by Seasonic. Now, it's important to note that just because a brand is actually the manufacturer of a PSU, that doesn't mean the PSU is good, and just because a PSU is a rebrand of a different manufacturer's unit, that doesn't mean it's bad. Corsair has a lot of great PSUs and Seasonic has some that are trash. That brings up the second point: Two: You can't buy a PSU based upon brand alone. Buying a PSU from a company you've never heard of and can't find on a Google search is often a bad idea, yes, but at the same time, well-known brands like Corsair, EVGA, Seasonic, etc. still produce bad PSUs sometimes. So how do you find a PSU? First, you can start by looking at a PSU tier list like the LTT Forums tier list . I would start by mostly looking at units that are at least rated B+. Now, I wouldn't use a tier list like this as the only factor in your purchasing decision. It's worth looking at a real review of the unit you're considering, from a good reviewer that will actually put the PSU through a proper test.
