Hello, I’ve been exploring ways to integrate QR codes into my web projects, especially for linking to PDFs. I came across a site called ViralQR that seems to offer a solid QR code generator with various customization options.
Has anyone here used it or have other recommendations for QR code generators that work well for PDFs?
Hey all,
I’m putting together a few physical flyers for local distribution and want to include a QR code that links directly to a downloadable PDF (brochure, pricing sheet, etc).
I’ve been using ME-QR lately — it does allow PDF QR generation for free and works fine for basic stuff. Only downside: the interface is a bit clunky and looks kinda outdated. Not a deal-breaker, but would love something a bit smoother.
Anyone have solid alternatives they’ve used? Ideally something that doesn’t force a subscription right away or watermark the code.

It's for a School Thesis (Some Broschüres) and I cannot find a static QR code generator that stays there forever from a PDF.
I am working on a poster board for school and I want to link my pdf reference sheet to the poster. Is there a free QR code generator that would allow me to do this for free and simply. Thank you in advance.
I urgently need a good QR code generator, but preferably one that doesn't cost money, and it shouldn't expire, as I need to give a QR code to clients that hasn't expired when they want to use it. It's for a school business, thanks! oh, and available in The Netherlands :) edit: need to be able to inset a PDF file!
I am working on a poster board and want to link my pdf reference page to a QR code. Any guidance on a free and simple way to do this would be greatly appreciated.
I’ve been exploring better ways to share business documents and recently came across QR code generators for PDFs.
The concept is simple: upload a PDF, generate a QR code link, and let people scan it instead of sending email attachments or handing out printed copies.
I recently tried ViralQR, an online qr code generator, to share a business proposal. It was quick to set up, and I liked that I could create a dynamic QR code, allowing me to update the PDF document later without reprinting or resending anything. But I’m still unsure, as it was a one-time thing, and the client was a prolific QR code user themselves.
Do people actually scan these, or does it just add an extra step that they ignore? Has anyone used QR codes for PDFs in business, like client proposals, digital brochures, or internal documents? If so, did it improve accessibility or engagement?
I would love to hear your thoughts. Are QR codes for business documents a smart move or another tech trend that won’t stick for long?
I needed a quick way to generate QR codes without logging in, signing up, or having my files stored somewhere.
So we ended up building a simple browser-based QR Code Generator.
Everything runs locally in your browser. We don’t upload or store your data, and once you close the page, it’s gone. It’s been useful for me for links, Wi-Fi, and quick sharing without overthinking the tool itself.

Feedback is welcome. If something feels missing, that’s how these tools usually get better.
My teacher says we need to submit homework in a pdf file but i dont know how.

Hi, I am about to sell my house, I am not using an estate agent but will sell myself. I need to create a For Sale sign to go in the garden, I want to use a QR code on the board to link to a PDF with details of the house. I also want to be able to edit the PDF for when I find I have made a mistake on the PDF document! Are there any sites that do this sort of thing? Thanks.
I need to make a few basic QR codes and I’m trying to find a free generator that’s actually free.
The annoying part is that a lot of sites let you create the QR code, then suddenly ask for a signup, payment, or subscription when you try to download it. Some also make it unclear whether the code will expire later, which is the last thing I want after printing it.
I mostly need simple QR codes for links and maybe WiFi, nothing too advanced. Logo support would be nice, but I don’t need analytics or anything fancy.
What free QR code generators have you used that were actually straightforward?
I know there are tons of free QR code generators out there, but many either expire quickly or push premium upgrades.
I recently tried ME-QR and it worked fine — permanent links, no watermark, no login required. Again, this isn't an ad — just wondering what others here are using? Interested in hearing some personal favorites that have worked well long-term.
Hi everyone
I had created my business cards and I had also added a QR code (using QR STUFF) allowing the recipients to scan and download all my contact info into their phone without typing.
The link has now expired, and i can reactivate the code by acquiring a subscription plan.
Obviously i need to understand what is cheaper between printing again the cards with a different code or buying the annual membership for the QR generator.
is there any real effective FREE QR Code generator that works?
thanks in advance
There are services that ask to pay just to create a PDF menu. It doesn't make sense.
Use a free solution (e.g. Drive or Wordpress), as described in this tutorial:

I am a 3rd year undergrad student who is attempting to create a QR code that links to a PDF with participant information. The idea is they scan the QR code, read the sheet, fill the boxes/sign and then email me back their copy. How do I accomplish this?
I have found a static QR code generator but when I generated the QR code and someone else filled in the sheet, then MY copy had their additions onto it. I'm not sure how to fix this.
Thank you in advance.
