How much memory does the ASUS PRIME X570-PRO Motherboard take?
What type of memory does the ASUS PRIME X570-PRO Motherboard take?
How many total memory slots to install memory on this Motherboard?
I am currently running 16GB Trident Royal Silvers 3200mhz... but I am happy to switch them out for something better, at 32GB, and sell them off cheap to someone.

Thank you for your time, good people! COST IS NOT REALLY AN ISSUE
This is for gaming, and I do not really intend to OC anything.
I have bought the following components for a machine dedicated to running Finite Element Analysis (FEA):
CPU - 3900X (Yet to be shipped!)
MOBO - ASUS Prime X570 Pro
RAM - Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 64GB (4 x 16GB) DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) Model CMW64GX4M4K3600C18W
HD1 - Samsung EVO 970 Pro 1 TB
HD2 - Samsung EVO 970 Plus 1 TB
Video Card - EVGA RTX 2080
PSU - Seasonic Platinum 80+ 750W
I have everything but the CPU.
I have been reading lots of great posts and am excited for this build but I have seen lots of troubling posts concerning the X570 boards and the 3900X and the RAM compatibility. This is the part that makes me feel sick. Have I sunk a large chunk of money into a system that has components that are not fully compatible and will not work? It troubles me that the ASUS boards seem to be having the most issues. Is my system at risk for trouble?
When I built this PC in 2021 I put 2x16 GB of G.Skill DDR4 PC4-25600 3200MHz and called it a day. It's more than adequate for what I do, highest I've ever seen is 25-27 GB pushing Lightroom to it's limits. However since getting my 4080 I'm wondering if I would benefit from faster ram. I've never had OC'd ram over the basic specs in the last 20 years but if it's worth it over buying another 2x16 set of the exact same ram I'd consider it. It's like $60 bucks to add the same sticks I've already got. Thoughts?
