What kind of keyboards are Razer Mechanical Switches compatible with?
What mechanical keyboard switch types does Razer have?
What are the differences between Razer Optical Switches and Razer Mechanical Switches?
i bought both versions of the blackwidow V4 Pro. While i like the sound of the Green switches more, I've grown to like the feel of the linear yellow switches. Since my job requires me to type about 3000 words everyday, which one would be better for me in the long run?
I accidently submitted the post that's why the title is like that. But I'm planning to buy a razer blackwidow chroma v2 and I'm torn between the switches. I know that green=mx blue, orange = mx brown, and yellow = mx red/speed. What is the best for gaming and also school work(typing)
If you can't test them yourself, or get a switchtester and thus can't decide, I would go for Brown. It's not annoying clicky (not so nice in multiplayer as everybody can hear you type) but also not super sensitive.
Good allround switches. But like the others said, it's all up to you. There is no gaming switch.
Also I do hope you have health insurance, because that razor software might give you cancer.
Whatever you were going to ask about switches, it's personal preference. So get a switch tester.
Edit: Why are you planning on buying a Razer keyboard instead of a better alternative? Why don't you tell us what you are looking for in a keyboard so we can give you suggestions?
