Im looking to start learning React and would like recommendations for good tutorials. Preferably some that explain each concept thoroughly with good illustrations. Im familiar with html css and have seen some javascript before but apart from that im an absolute beginner.

thanks

Edit: thanks for the suggestions! I'll start reading the docs to begin with and then when i finish that i'll most likely check out the udemy course and that beginner youtube series https://youtube.com/playlistlist=PLeJ7L1yWDo3EWWNFNOi3aSLuukQc2X39N&si=NVkBHrUiPDd-EJsS

Hello, I am looking for a course where I can learn React with all the details (dom mechanisms, ref mechanisms, react mechanisms, how react works, context etc.. ) I am looking for a very advanced and detailed course. Do you have any recommendations?

The courses on the internet that I find in general tell standard things, but I want to be a senior with all the details. Are there any courses you recommend for this?

February 11, 2024 - The new React docs would be worth thousands of dollars for me and it's free. I had 4yrs experience with React and still learnt a lot from it. ... These guys are pretty awesome. Id start here https://react.dev/learn. ... Not sure if sarcasm or not. I (think I) know React. I’m looking for a resource to learn more in depth topics and the ecosystem surrounding it. ... I think based on the other posts that are similar to mine. We just didn’t understand the question. What threw me was the desire for courses.

Which courses would you recommend to learn React JS. I'm planning to use it for the frontend since I'm focusing Java Spring to take care of the backend, but I have no problem with a react fullstack course.

Hi!

I'm looking to teach myself ReactJS / NextJS, which of these courses are better in your opinion and why? Also - I do not have TS experience, only JS.

https://www.udemy.com/course/the-ultimate-react-course/?couponCode=MT150725G1

https://www.udemy.com/course/react-the-complete-guide-incl-redux/?couponCode=MT150725G1

I can only purchase one.

Also these courses are crazy long, 70+ hours...will appreciate if anyone can provide some advice on what items would be bare minimum for me to cover so I can "learn something" and then branch out myself from there as and when something is required.

Thanks heaps!

EDIT : I went with brads course as it was very short and crisp also very much updated since it is a new course. It was just 16 hrs i completed it, there was so much to absorb as the knowledge gained is practical since it is through projects. But it is mostly begginer friendly so i am going to start Epic React by kent C dodds as it has all the advanced stuff like performance, custom hooks and is very long. I will also start to develop a portfolio webiste, blog website .. mainly personal projects along side as practice and to up my hiring game as well. Thank you for all the support

I am new to react, I have some experience in JS. I did some research and found out two courses

  1. Complete React Developer in 2022 (w/ Redux, Hooks, GraphQL) by Andrei Neagoie

  2. React - The Complete Guide (incl Hooks, React Router, Redux) by Maximilian SchwarzmüllerThe only major difference I found between the two is that one is using next.js and one is using gatsby. and i sincerely do not know the difference between the two.

  3. (edit) i just found out this course a well React Front To Back 2022 by Brad Traversy

  4. (edit) Epic React by Kent C. Dodds

  5. (edit) React Bootcamp on Scrimba

  6. (edit) Modern React with Redux by stephen grindr

  7. (edit )The Complete React Developer Course (w/ Hooks and Redux) by andrew mead

  8. (edit) React tutorial and Projects by john smilga

Please help me to get started with react, how to proceed which course to choose. My motive is to make some personal projects and change me profile to web developer and get into a new company.

I read the sidebar but the courses mentioned there are too old. No new posts have been pinned there for a long time

TLDR: Please help me in choosing a course and in my journey with react

edit: the original post contained two courses 1 and 2. added the other courses based on comments.
