And the new react docs are soo good. What I would recommend is to read through all of it. They habe code examples there too, just do every day 1h working through the docs and you will be better than 90% once you done Answer from Friendly_Salt2293 on reddit.com

Im looking to start learning React and would like recommendations for good tutorials. Preferably some that explain each concept thoroughly with good illustrations. Im familiar with html css and have seen some javascript before but apart from that im an absolute beginner.

thanks

Edit: thanks for the suggestions! I'll start reading the docs to begin with and then when i finish that i'll most likely check out the udemy course and that beginner youtube series https://youtube.com/playlistlist=PLeJ7L1yWDo3EWWNFNOi3aSLuukQc2X39N&si=NVkBHrUiPDd-EJsS

Hello, I am looking for a course where I can learn React with all the details (dom mechanisms, ref mechanisms, react mechanisms, how react works, context etc.. ) I am looking for a very advanced and detailed course. Do you have any recommendations?

The courses on the internet that I find in general tell standard things, but I want to be a senior with all the details. Are there any courses you recommend for this?

February 11, 2024 - Im not looking to learn React by itself; I’m looking for a resource to expand my knowledge of the ecosystem tools. ... In this case, I’d recommend content creators such as Josh Tried Coding and Theo from T3.gg. I haven’t found any one course than can go over the full ecosystem unfortunately - as the ecosystem is not structured and is rapidly changing.

Hi!

I'm looking to teach myself ReactJS / NextJS, which of these courses are better in your opinion and why? Also - I do not have TS experience, only JS.

https://www.udemy.com/course/the-ultimate-react-course/?couponCode=MT150725G1

https://www.udemy.com/course/react-the-complete-guide-incl-redux/?couponCode=MT150725G1

I can only purchase one.

Also these courses are crazy long, 70+ hours...will appreciate if anyone can provide some advice on what items would be bare minimum for me to cover so I can "learn something" and then branch out myself from there as and when something is required.

Thanks heaps!

r/react on Reddit: React Crash Course Recommendation
July 24, 2024 -

Hey everyone, sorry for the title. I'm a backend developer (Node.js) and I have a school project where I need to build a frontend for my application. The deadline is in 3 days, and I need to learn React quickly. I have some basic knowledge in frontend development; I've built a couple of apps with native HTML/CSS and Mustache. I've also watched a few sections of Jonas's React course last year, but I stopped at the useState section, so I have a basic background but I'm a fast learner.

Can anyone recommend a video for a crash course (around 4 hours maybe) that covers the basics without going into too much detail? Specifically, I 'm looking for something that includes updating components, simple state management, and making API calls to a server and user authentication.

r/reactjs on Reddit: Best React Course? I'm struggling to learn from Max.
April 11, 2023 -

I've been learning from Maximilian Schwarzmüller's React course for a couple of weeks now and damn he makes things confusing. He's always going back and forth on how you should write code etc. I'm trying to persevere with his course but struggling to learn from him. I feel if I keep trying to push through his course, I'll just be even more confused and everything I would've "learnt" would be a blank. I've been told to have a look at Stephen Grider's course (he updated it recently) as well as Colt Steele's course, but I'm open to other courses.

Don't get me wrong, I think Max is an excellent developer and he knows his stuff, but I struggle to learn from him.

Kent C, was pretty awesome with remix and the platform you learned on. Really liked that you had a webapp for learning, one click and everything was set in IntelliJ. You also had the 'diff' feature to see what you might have missed etc. Now he has a v2 out that I'm thinking of.

ReactGG I do not know the platform of. And same with Joy of React. I've been searching the seas, but didn't find anything like I did with kentc's old react course (did not find his v2 on the web). I like to try before I maybe buy it if I can afford. Any tips and recommendations?

As part of our companies migration to React, my team and I took the ZTM course "Complete React Developer (w/ Redux, Hooks, GraphQL)" as an intro to the language and concepts.

I found it to be very thorough and enjoyable. The instructor's were clear and easy to understand and the code repos were extremely helpful along the way.

The content has been updated several times since, and the course not only including React basics, but also content in several other topis, such as Netlify, Firebase and Stripe.

I really enjoyed how they built up the project, they continued to enhance it by using different coding strategies. For example it was coed originally using js - then converted to typescript.

Give it a go - https://zerotomastery.io/courses/learn-react/
