Not really an answer.... I have one bought from Manhattan home design about 3 years ago. It is a quality reproduction and I paid for the better analine leather. I truly love this chair. Unfortunately they don't sell it anymore. I know it was sourced from China... And I even have pictures of the box it came in with party numbers but I can't find it anywhere. Such a bummer as I would love a matching set. Just make sure of a few things: No quality reproduction should show any hardware. The original eames engineered the chair to show no screws or fasteners. Except from underneath. The chair should have 5 legs. Ottoman 4. Chair should swivel. The seat and ottoman should be the same size and are switchable in quality chairs. The leather sections should use slide on clips but that isn't as important. The leather quality is important. Don't skip out on cheaper chair because of leather. The wood should all be finished and perfect. Some hide the areas under the arm pads, behind the back between the cushions or underside with poor quality finish. I know posters will say go through search, but it made me confused. Sohnne, CurverK, Imus, etc. What are your thoughts on buying a new dupe? Are they really all the same? The Black Friday deals are almost upon us (and thus, almost over) and some definite deals are to be had. PS, I know over on the hermanmiller sub they'll essentially laugh at me, but I really can't justify paying 6-10k for this chair, wonderful as it is.

The best replica I found is from Urban Furnishing. They either used or paid to measure the original molds. Only real difference is injection foam as opposed to how the Eames are done. https://theiconicchair.com/ They cost $1700 to $2100, but much less than the $6000+ for the authentic. I bought mine in 2018 and it had held up fine. Edit: The link is now bad. They sold briefly under Urban Furnishing, but are no longer listed there either. The main thread on Houzz for Eames chairs now lists https://www.keeksdesign.com/ as a good source.
