Chuck (2007-12). It's a niche cult show and a great love story with a great cast that has fantastic chemistry together (and had a lot of fun filming the show). It's also deeper than it looks, with two parallel bildungsromane (growth journeys) for Chuck and Sarah that take all five seasons to complete, an ethical exploration of love vs duty (from Star Warrs applied to the spy world) and utilitarian ethics vs virtue ethics, and a very nice and satisfyingly deep but still fun exploration of real vs cover (real identity or relationhsip vs cover identity or relationship), a ton of pop culture references, a fantastic sound track that understores and enriches the story, and a very clever chiastic narrative structure with parallels, counterpoints, and mirrors between scenes, episodes, and seasons. (You have to do some spy work to figure out what's going on with these spies, which led to unending discussions and arguments among fans in Internet boards when the show came out.) You may not catch any of the deep stuff above (I didn't) and will simply enjoy the unreal chemistry between Chuck and Sarah and their story. It should be free on Amazon Prime. Lois and Clark (1993-97) is basically like Chuck but easier to understand. It was free on Tubi until a few months ago (it might come back). If you are into Korean drama, Crash Landing on You (2021) is a great one-season overview of the relationship between North Korea and South Korea, symbolized through a beautiful and pure love story between a stoic North Korean soldier and a bubbly South Korean businesswoman. The main actors got married in real life after this show. The show was a sensation when it came out a few years ago. Can be korny (Korean corny) at times, but a great story nonetheless. needing some help finding new romance shows to watch please?
In Mindy Project, Mindy is very into romcoms, and her dating life is a big part of the plot (along with workplace scenarios). Hart of Dixie is my favorite CW show; lots of relationships that transform in and out of love triangles and love squares. The plot is similar to what I've seen from Virgin River, but maybe a bit more of a comedy. Jane the Virgin and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend hit a similar vibe with the romantic relationships driving a lot of plot. More on reddit.com

This romantic comedy shows us the fairy tale-like world of Ned, a man who can bring dead people back to life through the power of his touch. The same touch he must use to "kill" them after no more than a minute or another person will die. With the help of Emerson, a local PI, Ned uses his ability to solve murder cases and cash in on any rewards.

19 Rom-Com TV Series Worth Watching After Nobody Wants This
October 10, 2024 - This Is Us is one of the best shows I've ever watched, and I don't say that lightly. It follows a group of siblings and their lives, with flashbacks of the past to help tell their stories. I know that doesn't sound that compelling, but it's just one of those shows where you have to trust me. ... I don't know why, but before I watched this, I used to mistake Desperate Housewives with The Real Housewives franchise. I can confirm that they are two vastly different series, and although this one is not a reality TV show, it's addicting in its own way.
