I‘m using floorplanner.com and can highly recommend it. It‘s free for a single story floorplan and you could easily add multiple free projects if you need more floors. It has it’s flaws but is relatively easy to use and the results are great Answer from launsi on reddit.com

I've tried a couple of the AR apps and my phone won't even let them load. they open and close immediately with a message "this app is unstable". I need to measure wall heights, floor dimensions, window sizes, etc. The apps I've seen have horrible reviews. Have you found any good ones?

I use arplan 3d and ar zone. The first of the two is the best, but in order to open your scans after closing the app you need to pay a subscription. So either take screen shots or print to pdf, that's what I do. Works really well, used it to make 3d plans of my home.

Just a heads up, don't bother with ARplan 3D!! I downloaded ARplan 3D and paid for a year subscription, and it is not accurate and does not work correctly with my phone Samsung z flip. I can not get a refund or ahold of anyone to help me with customer service. A friend suggested that it may be because my phone may not have the lidar technology to be compatible, but theres zero customer help in trouble shooting (videos don't help) now I'm $90 out for a completely useless app/service and my emails for refund are going completely ignored. Horrible customer service, I'm extremely unhappy. What a ridiculous waste of money.

Anyone know of a good iPhone/iPad app for conducting site visits? i.e. recording measurements, plotting locations of power/doors, shapes of room, making notes etc that I can then take back to the office and turn into a useful plan/signal flow diagram?
Is there one that will run on an iPhone 12 and allow me to use the camera to measure a room, and if so how accurate is it? I'm only looking for like the nearest foot....

I've been playing with Cubicasa on Android but they have an iPhone app as well. There is also Moasure Moasure but I've only seen demos of it.
