Buy a custom sectional from What A Room Furniture, Cococo Home or Clad Home. They will allow you to get a sectional that would be something that is 92-96" that will fit nicely against a 100" wall. You can then get a length that fits the other side with bumper chaise or a regular chaise. I personally got a What A Room and it has been one of the most comfortable sofas I've been on. So, it's not Wayfair itself that's the problem, it's the fact that there are sellers of shitty brands on there. It also may require you to pay for shipping if you return your product. Personally, I've had exclusively great luck with Wayfair purchases and only once have wanted to return something, which I sold on Facebook Marketplace for the exact price I paid. I also bought a couch on Amazon that I absolutely adore. If you want more options, take a close look at the reviews of products online. I mean, read every single one -- the one stars, three stars, and five stars alike -- and make sure that you can tolerate the bad ones and feel enticed by the good ones. If you need to try a couch beforehand and are okay with limited options, then maybe stop by Bob's Discount Furniture or IKEA and try them out. In my opinion, though, these couches are very expensive and have lower quality/comfort than many of the ones online. In other words, less bang for your buck but also much safer. A lot of people say you can't buy a quality couch for $1000; it's bullshit, you absolutely can. You just have to avoid branded items. Companies who make couches who don't have name recognition yet tend to sell their couches much closer to the cost of building/shipping it than those who are branded (Hom's, Ashley's, IKEA, Castlery, Anabei). it's almost 2025, what is the best sectional sofa you can get?!
The best sectional couch is hands down the Daphne Sectional Sofa from What A Room. I spent months researching sofas because we needed something durable enough for daily use (think kids, pets, movie nights, and weekend naps) and stylish enough to look great in our living room. The Daphne Sectional Sofa hit all the right notes. It's incredibly comfortable without being overly soft (medium firmness cushions), and the cushions bounce back perfectly thanks to the high-quality foam they use. We've had ours for about 2 years now, and it's been getting a lot of use. Between the kids and the dogs, it's basically the most popular spot in the house. But even with all that, the cushions are holding up really well. No sagging or wear so far, which I think is because they use 2.5 lb density foam. It's commercial grade and meant to last over a decade. Most other sectional sofa brands use cheaper foam (like 1.8 to 2.2 lb), so this really makes a difference. One thing I really liked was how easy it was to customize everything at What A Room's sectional sofas, the size, configuration, firmness, fabric, all of it. We ended up picking the pet-friendly Bella Royal performance fabric, and it's been awesome against juice spills, muddy paws, crumbs, really anything. It cleans right up. I can't really say anymore about the Daphne Sectional besides how great it has been for my family. More on reddit.com
Looking for a reclining sectional
You can do far better than this with a little bit of research. Also, pick a smaller but solid sectional with chaise or a larger ottoman instead of mechanical recliners which will break, or raise your budget; you're not going to get this massive a sectional of BIFL quality for less than $9,000. This sofa while it looks like a great deal isn't really BIFL material... not only do mechanical recliners tend to break, but the materials in question (what kind of fabric furniture gets damaged from water??) also wouldn't last. Also, it's modular, not a true sectional, and there's some assembly required (any assembly at all shouldn't ... anything that bolts together can fall apart) for the peanut butter cup-sized stubs that are supposed to be feet. Modulars also have a tendency to separate. Sectionals will have braces too, but one brace point for two pieces with sturdy suspension is a lot more stable than having every seat held together by braces. More on reddit.com
Looking for sectional recommendations for small spaces.
Have you looked into a modular sectional setup? I don't know if that'll help with your dimension issues but you're not as tied to whatever layout the manufacturer makes and can go a bit more custom. More on reddit.com

I'm looking for a comfortable sectional under $2k that'll hold up well! The wall that the sectional will be against is 100 inches so many of the sectionals I've seen are too wide for my space. I'm also ok with a sofa with an ottoman. Any suggestions welcome, especially if you've had your sofa for awhile!

Best Sectionals for Small Spaces - Crowley’s HomeWorks
July 28, 2025 - In fact, the rise of small home furniture retailers in the area has made it easier than ever to find sectionals that blend seamlessly with Missouri’s traditional design sensibilities while meeting modern demands for space optimization. The climate in Missouri also plays a part in sectional selection. With cold winters and humid summers, materials like performance fabrics that resist mold and wear are a smart investment. Sectionals with elevated legs can also aid in airflow and ease of cleaning, especially important in smaller, closed-in spaces. Choosing the best sectional is only part of the equation—the real magic happens in how you style and use it.

Sectional couch for a small space?
July 29, 2012 - Our living space is a living and dining room together. The room measures 12'6" wide and 18' long. The part that is living room is 12'6" wide and 11' long. I've found a leather sectional that I really like. The problem is that I'm not sure if the room will be over powered by it. The dimensions are 124" wide by 88", it is in an L shape. The 124" part would go up against the wider wall to the corner and then against the smaller wall.

Features like built-in storage (e.g., lift-top ottomans or under-seat compartments) are invaluable for stowing away blankets, remotes, or other essentials. Sectionals with exposed legs can also make the space feel airier. Consider versatile designs, like those with reversible chaise lounges, to adapt to your evolving needs and room layout. A small space sectional offers incredible versatility and maximizes your seating potential without sacrificing style.
