After many, many years, my showerhead at home cracked. And I have found that new showerheads are suboptimal. I don't know if it is the flow restrictors or something else. But they lack pressure, have narrower water cones, and all have a high pitched whine that make taking a shower non-relaxing.
Anyone out there have tips for good showerheads?
Our house has fairly low water pressure, and the current shower head just isn’t cutting it. Even after removing the restrictor, the stream feels weak and takes forever to rinse shampoo out properly. I’m hoping to find a handheld or fixed shower head that actually boosts pressure in a noticeable way.
I’m open to spending up to $150 if it gets me something that actually works well and holds up long term. Ideally, I want something that’s not a total pain to install (I’m not super handy), and it’d be great if it had multiple spray modes especially a massage or power rinse setting. Filtration would be a nice bonus, but not a must.
If anyone has firsthand experience with a model that works well in low pressure homes, I’d love to hear about it.
