Hi friends! Trying to decide between Skydive Santa Barbara, GoJump Ocenaside, or Pacific Skydive (in San Diego) for my 2nd ever jump. Really trying to get the best views of the ocean.
Would appreciate any and all recommendations and also if theres a best time of day for the views. Thanks so much in advance!

If you're doing a tandem, I would suggest Oceanside. I've jumped there as an experienced jumper, and there were some great views of the ocean on the way up and the way down.

If its a tandem, I would suggest Oceanside for the view. Skydive San Diego has an ok view of downtown and you can see into TJ but Oceanside has the better view of the 2 imho. If you ever want to possibly learn, I would suggest Perris so you can see what a real DZ is like :)

I plan to visit the US West Coast and go on a road trip from north to south. I want to go Sky Diving somewhere along the way. What is the best place for someone doing a first-time dive along the entire West Coast of the US?
Edit 1: I forgot to mention that I'm looking for a tandem jump. Also, this is a one-time thing for me for now. Maybe in future will do more.

Day 1: Tandem jump at Skydive Kapowsin in Western WA Day 3: Another tandem jump at Skydance in Davis, CA, because you liked the first one so much Days 6-13: Get licensed at Skydive Elsinore outside of LA Day 14+: Quit your job, live in a van, start jumping at Skydive San Diego All good places, and the further South into California you go, the more South California the drop zones will be.
