If his current sound blaster is anything like the one I’ve heard, I get why he’s not happy lol, its baddd. It works fine for basic pc bleeps and background audio but doesn’t have that clarity, separation or the low end depth even for a netlix show. But he also doesnt need the heavy duty setup that you're suggesting, those models are a bit too much for an under the pc setup. Also a bit too expensive, you can find much better budget friendly options that would do fine. Look into other samsung models or even westinghouse would do fine. This soundbar is usually sold for tv but works well for monitors too(has got plenty of inputs). The dolby atmos up firing and side speakers give it proper immersion compared to a flat stereo bar and the wireless subwoofer adds bass without having to cram speakers onto his desk. So i think it would work well for his needs at least without you having to spend $$$. Also if you make him not over use it and keep the maintenance right, this one should hold up the cinema room speaker vibe. More on reddit.com

Weaker alternative is the q930b, which is a bit smaller but still one of the best. I play jedi survivor and I can hear stuff happening around and above me. I need your help. My brother's birthday is in two weeks, and he's looking for a good soundbar. I'm planning to get one for him.
He has "Sound Blaster SG3" and its sound quality is horrible.
He wants to use it under the desktop monitor, mainly using it with a PC not with console. He has specific requirements:
He wants a soundbar with a maximum width of 1000mm.
Since he'll place it in the bedroom, it doesn't need to be loud because he'll sit in front of the monitor.
He wants a soundbar with outstanding sound quality and details.
He'll be using it for 40% listening to music from Spotify and 60% watching content from Netflix and YouTube.
He prefers an all-in-one soundbar and doesn't want one with an external subwoofer or other speakers.

Looking for a soundbar mainly for gaming, and watching youtube videos with some occasional music listening. I have been looking at the Creative Labs Katana v2 along with Razer Leviathan Pro V2.
I was recommended a Polk MagniFi Mini AX in another thread, but I am not too sure with its current reviews.
I have more than enough room under my monitors for any length of soundbar, just not tall enough to fit any bookshelf speakers. Any suggestions, or has anyone used the Katana v2 or Leviathan pro v2?
