Manual, Reliable, Somewhat cheap to fix, and you can find some good ones out there in that price range. They’re fun to drive and if you’re looking to mod they respond great to it. For context, I currently have a 2011 Toyota Corolla with 250k miles on it, and as much as I love it, it’s a lil beat up (been through 3 older siblings and an accident), and I want to get an “upgrade”.
Now I know that Honda and Toyota are the first suggestions because they’re reliable and last awhile, but frankly don’t really want another Corolla and kind of want a better, more sporty looking car. Is there any other options in that price range that isn’t going to break the bank in repairs (BMWs)
Currently looking at Lexus GS and IS series, Subaru brz/ scion, Hyundai genesis, Cadillac ats, and Kia stinger as options.
Thought about maybe a Charger, Mustangs or Mercedes but I don’t really know much about them or if they have a lot of problems so that would be appreciated.
Also I am mainly looking on marketplace, so any advice on questions to asks and things to look out so that I don’t get scammed would be GREAT !!
