I already have a solid formal charcoal suit so this one can be more casual (am aiming at a light grey). My initial thought for material was linen but my tailor has flagged Crispaire and Fresco III Lite as good alternatives that will crease less. Summer suit recs?
I own two summer suits – a 100% linen suit from Todd Snyder (purchased a few years ago on sale for ~$300) and a cotton/linen seersucker blend from AKOG. TS works well and is good value for money especially purchased on sale. You can also purchase secondhand at fairly reasonable prices. AKOG is about the same price as TS but harder to find on sale. They actually just dropped new summer suiting some very interesting fabrics and cuts. Not "traditional" by any means. You also mention wool in your post – a tropical wool will feel better in the summer than a 100% cotton suit, and not wrinkle as easily as linen. More on reddit.com
