Hello Everyone,
I have travelling overseas for vacation and was wondering what's the best way use money instead of carrying hard cash ? Are there any no foreign transaction fee no annual fee credit cards out there ? If not what's the best way to take money overseas for spending? Thanks you

Which travel credit cards have no foreign transaction fees?
Two strong options for travel credit cards that have no foreign transaction fees are the Scotiabank Passport Visa Infinite and the Scotiabank Gold American Express. Both cards waive foreign transaction fees while still offering competitive earn rates and travel-friendly perks. The Passport Visa Infinite also includes airport lounge access and strong travel insurance coverage, while the Gold Amex is excellent for maximizing everyday rewards on dining, groceries, and streaming services.
Can I use a no foreign transaction fee credit card in any country?
You can use a no foreign transaction fee credit card anywhere that your card type is accepted, whether that’s Visa, Mastercard or American Express. If you’re worried about card acceptance, you could try using a prepaid travel card or get foreign cash before you leave. Keep in mind that ATMs charge currency exchange fees and foreign transaction fees (unless you are withdrawing money from a no-forex fee card).

I have Wealthsimple card and I’m looking to have a backup card for travel (to Europe particularly) with no foreign exchange fees. I don’t need fancy access to lounge and preferable no annual fee. Just looking for a basic simple card. Any recommendations?
Looking to get some recommendations on the best credit card for my current situation. I live in Toronto and I recently started travelling a lot so I went all in on Air Canada/Aeroplan and now have accumulated about 175k points between me and my wife. I have an AMEX Aeroplan Reserve (Currently on 2nd year with the card) with an extra card for my wife, and I also have a CapitalOne World Elite MC (1.5% cashback towards travel purchases) and so does my wife.
Paying yearly $599 + $199 for my AMEX + supplemental card and $130 for the Capital One
As I continue to do more travelling, I might be interested in a credit card with good exchange rates as I always use credit card for purchases while travelling.
I plan on cancelling my AMEX at the end of my 2nd year in September, and also want to replace my Mastercard for something with better benefits or exchange rates.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
