It works great and looks amazing seeing the DC in 1080p. The only issue I had is to make sure you plug the VGA cable in tightly. It fits more snugly than it is supposed to and if it isn't pushed in all the way, it won't work.

Hi, I'm realy sorry if this sounds really dumb 😅 I recently got an issue with my gaming computer and had to resort to an old computer made in the early 2010s I had around.
I work from home so although I'm sad I can't really game anymore, it's a lifesaver! Only issue is, it doesn't have an HDMI port. It's a probook HP, I researched it to make sure lol. However, there is this port I will show in picture 1 that seems to be to plug a monitor in, which I really want to do.
From what I can gather just from the looks of it, it's a VGA port? The only thing that confuses me is there isn't two screws on the side of it or any hole to be screwed. I'll show a picture of the cable I want to buy in pic 2. Can you confirm to me wether the cable I intend to buy will work? I'm so tired of working on only 1 monitor lol.

I was wondering if there was a particular make/model of converter/digitizer that takes most valid VGA signals, preferably also EGA, CGA, Hercules, and whatever 68k Macs technically output, and convert to HDMI. I'm very interested in wide input compatibility, but the output needs to look good to. I do a lot of retro DOS gaming and I don't want to end up with artifacts or a blank "No Signal" screen because some game uses a less common video mode.
So, any known good ones out there? I'd also like to hear about known bad ones to avoid?
