First of, maybe try your phone? If you have a half decent phone that came out this decade, it'll hold up really well, especially for youtube. Otherwise I'd recommend getting either an entry level MFT camera, as their IBIS is pretty good, or if you plan on shooting on a tripod most of the time you could also get an entry level APS-C, such as the Sony a600 series. Most important is to get the body that does what you need (and nothing more), and then to get a decent lens. More on reddit.com

I have the Sony a6400 and it’s an incredible camera for the price point, very good auto focus and the massive lens selection for e-mount. Plus the form factor is a nice size.

First of, maybe try your phone? If you have a half decent phone that came out this decade, it'll hold up really well, especially for youtube. Otherwise I'd recommend getting either an entry level MFT camera, as their IBIS is pretty good, or if you plan on shooting on a tripod most of the time you could also get an entry level APS-C, such as the Sony a600 series. Most important is to get the body that does what you need (and nothing more), and then to get a decent lens.

If you’re doing YouTube, the common recommendations are either the Sony A6000 or A6400, or the Sony ZV series. Look at comparison YT videos & articles on the specs, and price differentials between the cameras, and figure out what works best for your particular shooting needs & budget. I settled on the Sony ZV-1F because it was cost effective & I was shooting mostly stationary videos, which it’s major downsides didn’t effect.
