Are Cash Back Credit Cards Worth It?
One note of caution: Don't carry a balance with these cards! They have higher interest rates, and it's easy to get into debt if you carry a balance from month to month. You're also wiping out the rewards you've earned when you pay interest to carry a balance.

Is Cash Back From a Credit Card Taxable?
I currently use BOA travel rewards which only gets back like 1.65% in travel rewards. I am going to phase that card out and I want a credit card that gives just cash back rewards instead of one specific to travel.
I’d like to balance a higher rewards percentage with a great experience using that card (great customer service, no fees, etc).
What card do you use and love?
i have plans to move out of my house by next year and i have discover, chase freedom unlimited and capital one savor and while i have no problems with freedom unlimited as it guarantees me 3% back on restaurants, i am considering cancelling capital one because im not a huge fan of their customer service and from my experience seemed unreliable for me. in addition, although i do not have problems with discover's customer service, their 5% cashback on grocery purchases isnt guaranteed most of the time with their quarterly categories and costco does not accept discover credit cards and discover doesn't code 5% cashback for purchases at walmart even if grocery store purchases is the category during that quarter. i prefer to have a credit card that has multiple branches across the US so i can get support in person.
to be more specific about my question, what would be the best credit card to get that offers 2-4% cash back on grocery and gas purchases but also codes 2-4% cash back for in store purchases at costco, sam's club and walmart that is under the visa network and has multiple branches across the US?
If you could recommend one cashback card to most people, would it be a flat 2% card, or a rotating category 5% card? Which one?
I know it depends on spending habits, but the question is if you had to make one general recommendation for the average American family.
