July 7, 2024 - I know ollivanders does the ceremony but wondering if it makes more sense to get our wands at city walk on Saturday to have them when we arrive at the parks on Sunday rather than trying to hit ollivanders as soon as we get to the park? Is there a merchandise difference or is it all in the show elements? I intend on doing the wand experience show but would rather do it based on line timing. Also how do you cart them around? Are they safe in a backpack or does UO sell some sort of holder? Thoughts? ... The main Universal store in City Walk should have most all the wands.

January 5, 2020 - If you have them before your trip, no down time in the park You can go to the Potter sections and use them early If you buy them that morning you arrive, kind of sweet of the attention and interactions with staff that helps you pick out a wand ... Get them there. We were there on a super busy post Christmas Day and the wait for the show was only two shows. Go to Ollivanders on the Diagon Alley. The show room and store are way bigger. ... If you wait til towards the end of the day, lines at Ollivanders are short / non existant, and that is the best time to do spells and explore anyways.

While Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique in Epic Universe will have more unique wands when it opens on May 22, Universal has already rolled out the new second gen technology at both Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure.
