Your answer is going to be “speed queen” For my part, I wasn’t able to drop the money on one when my washer recently died. I opted for the one at my big box store with the least bells and whistles. There certainly is a control board in it, but the wash cycle and temp selectors are manual dials. There is no LCD display, it doesn’t hook up to my WiFi. No software etc. if you can stay away from all that stuff, I think you are better off, even if you can’t afford the “top end” speed queens. Answer from edcculus on reddit.com
