How do you find wholesale suppliers for the products you want to sell?
Looking for Canadian Computer parts Wholesale/supplier with best prices
I used to do a lot of business with Ingram Micro back in the day. Their customer service was pretty good, shipping was quick. Their prices are OK, it really depends on the volume you're ordering.
That said, a word of advice from someone who's owned and operated a similar business: the prebuilt PC market is an extremely, ridiculously difficult one. Competition is sky-high and margins are razor-thin. My advice to you is two-fold:
Have a niche that isn't gaming PCs. Workstations, HEDTs, HTPCs maybe? This will help you stand out and build a loyal clientele. Mine was (pure incidentally) small retail business IT setups and POS support, which later included online presences.
Repairs and service plans are where you'll make your money. Just be sure to clearly define what your service plans cover and when/how to put your foot down for those clients that'll call you for every little thing.
Best of luck!

Hi, I'm starting my first business, but I'm finding it challenging to source the products I want to sell. If I had a shop that sold kitchen cleaning and storage products (not what I'm planning to sell, just using it as an example), what is the best approach to finding a wholesale supplier? I'm from the UK, by the way.
