Now I'm currently searching for the best wireless headset for the PS5 that offers great sound quality, comfort for long gaming sessions, and a reliable mic for chatting with friends. I want something with good battery life, low latency, and full compatibility with the PlayStation 5.
I've come across several options during my research, but I’d love to hear about your personal experiences and recommendations. Some options I’ve been considering include:
-
Sony Pulse 3D Wireless Headset
-
SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7P Wireless
-
Astro A50 Wireless (with Base Station)
-
Razer Kaira Pro for PlayStation
-
Corsair HS80 RGB Wireless
-
Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2 MAX
-
HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless
If you have any personal favorites or additional insights on these PS5 wireless headsets or others that might be better for sound quality, comfort, or value, please share!
I'm in the market for a new headset since my old one just broke. I want something with good directional sound for spirit phasing and just in general. After searching around the main one I see is astro a40 with mixamp(and that I want the wired version I think) but I can't find any in stock and I don't want to wait months for a new headset.
I've seen a few others in old posts but they cost way more than I want to pay for something that may or may be suitable for ps5 and for this game(sennheiser stuff i think but idk if that was a suggestion for pc only what), and idk if there's a equally good or better alternative these days. Can anyone vouch for anything that's actually in stock and does a good job?
A bit of insight. I’m primarily a solo gamer, I play by myself a lot & the games I do play are mostly single player. I’m looking for a new headset that can help me fully immerse into the game I’m playing.
I struggle with ADHD & misophonia, I hate a lot of noise & having too many distractions while gaming, it takes away my enjoyment because I’m unable to concentrate, so noise cancelling is an absolute must, probably the most important feature I’m looking for.
Comfort. I’m so tired of gaming headsets hurting my ears & head after wearing them for long periods of time. I need something light with a ‘premium’ feel, almost like I’m not wearing it I guess? I don’t want my ears sweating & hurting after two hours of gaming.
I’m willing to spend between £100-£200 ($135-$250), probably even more if it means I’ll get absolutely everything I’m looking for. I figure if I’m going to invest in a new headset I want it to be solid & last me a good few years, so with all that being said, what headset would you recommend? Any help would be appreciated!
