After owning a Rainy75 and a Bridge75 I would never consider buying a "Gaming Keyboard" (Razer, Logitech, Sharkoon, Corsair etc.) again. The build quality and feeling is so much better than everything I owned before. My advice would be: Open youtube and watch some videos about perbuilt custom keyboards (Rainy75, Bridge75, Neo80, Evo80...). If that's not your thing and you want to have a lot of crazy (sometimes even usefull) features you could taka a look at the Wooting 80HE. The hall effect switches plus the very good Wooting software bring a lot of possibilities to tinker with. Answer from Striker0815 on reddit.com

What's the best Logitech wireless keyboard?
I recently bought the Logitech G915 which is a strong competitor of the New SteelSeries and Razer keyboard. While there are many options in the market not every keyboard is good at that price like some SteelSeries are too much pricey. This one has the perfect less noisy keypress buttons that I am looking for also the build and overall use are great for me. More on reddit.com

Do You Need a Media-Centric Keyboard?

If you’re looking for a wireless keyboard because you’re setting up a media PC to hook up to your TV, keep in mind that there’s a subset of wireless keyboards made specifically with this use case in mind. Entertainment keyboards, sometimes called “media center keyboards” or "lapboards," are all-in-one solutions made to work on your lap, rather than sit on a surface. Most are long, and some have larger-than-ordinary keys. Some models also have an underside surface contoured to rest on your lap. They also always have a touchpad or other mouse substitute to make input control more manageable, with no separate mouse required.

Most such boards are made for navigating web browsers and media players like Plex, or for PC gaming. Because they’re designed for only occasional typing, they often don’t make for the best general-use keyboards (though there are exceptions). Also note: These kinds of keyboards are much rarer nowadays than in years past. Corsair's K83, pictured above, is a recent archetype media keyboard, but it is now available only on the secondary market. The budget-priced Logitech K400 Plus has been around for many years and remains available, but is ripe for a challenger.

April 5, 2024 -

Hey everyone! I was hope you all could help me with choosing my next keyboard. I am currently rocking a Razer Blackwidow Chroma v3 which has done me good overall but my situation has changed a bit. I am starting to move back and forth a lot recently with going from my University to home and back so im moving my set up a lot. Luckily i already got a mini itx build so the pc is no problem but ive noticed that the bulky and full size keyboard hinders me a bit as i constantly have to unplug and reroute it every time (same goes for the mouse). Ive decided to make my life easier and get a wireless and smaller form factor keyboard so id appreciate the help as im not too well versed in keyboards (ive been with razer since i started building pcs 10 years ago)

My Criterias:

-Wireless but also has wired functionality

-75% or smaller just as long as its not as big as a full size

-good battery life with usb c charging

-under $150, $200 if its really worth it

I do not care much about rgb or programability, as long as it has some sort of backlight. Ill prob just leave it at a single color anyways. I use the yellow switches on my blackwidow v3 and i like them so if there is one with similar switches that is great but im open to suggestions.

I will be mainly using it for school work and gaming so durability and stoke life is important.

I was thinking of getting the Razer Huntsman mini but ik “real” keyboard people disapprove of razer so i thought id ask. Ive also been told that the RK Royal and KeyChron are good but wanted to confirm.

Thank you for your help (and if u have any wireless mouse recommendations, send them over as well)

Basically, I'm looking for a wireless typist-like keyboard for my laptop, to use when travelling. Portability is key factor, can be 60% or tkl.

Currently found stuff like Logitech K650, which looks swell, but is bit too long (430mm), so need something smaller.

Preferably with silent keys, could be mechanical keys, as long as it's silent.

Any advice appreciated!
