Madewell closes Monday. Nordstrom/anthropologie/gap/uniqlo all gone. Where do you go (in the city or outside) to get your shopping fix in? (note: I do buy from other stores like Marine Layer and local boutiques, but just asking for your shopping *destination* of choice)

Fillmore St. or Chestnut. Lots of great national brands. I feel like there are more brands on Fillmore now than boutiques. There is both a Madewell and a Gap on Chestnut. There's another Gap and an Old Navy Downtown on Folsom St., near the Embarcadero. I go to Haight or Grant Ave. for thrifting. Union Square occasionally for higher end items because all of the luxury retailers are there and are doing well so they aren't closing. The shopping district around the Square still has many stores and selections. Macy's, Saks, Neiman Marcus, etc. Stonestown Galleria if you want like a traditional mall experience. Bloomingdales also.
