I want some keyword research free tools for YouTube, can you guys suggest some
Looking to help my SEO on my podcast and comedy channel(same name as username) would love to have some recommendations on budget SEO tools.
I want to learn seo practically. But most of the time when I search tutorial on YouTube, they mostly use paid tools like semrush, ahrefs or ubersuugest. They mostly use the paid version and I don't have money. So is their any other way to do keyword research and overall seo for free?
I’m a beginner in SEO looking to change careers and learn SEO.
Ahrefs & Semrush are the two “top dogs” of SEO tools as far as research is concerned.
Are there other tools that do a comparable job but actually free? (Some might be free but have limitations)
What are free tools to use that do a great job for SEO research where paying is not necessary?
But I also hear paying for Ahrefs or Semrush is worth it because of their value and “you get what you pay for” -which makes sense.
Lately, I've been exploring Google Analytics, Google Search Console and SEMrush. Where can I practice for free?
There are many tools out there, and I have very limited time to study each day because of work, other activities, errands, and sleep. I also try to explore other tools. I just want something that I’m sure can be applied and has the same value as learning other SEO tools when I apply for an SEO position at a company.
Thanks in advance to those who will answer in detail! 🙂
Hi all,
I would like to learn how you optimize your SEO scores, Title, description, tags, and hashtags. I hired a freelancer before for 3 of my vids and he had optimized the SEO score to 100. I did get a good reach/views for a few days.
Videos which have SEO Score 100 and a good reach (for me it's good enough):

Now, I want to learn it myself using free tools and websites.
Please help me here.
Hey YouTubers, I always struggled with getting my videos to rank on YouTube. Writing the perfect title, description, and tags felt like a guessing game.
So, I built Makefy ( https://www.makefy.co )—an AI-powered tool that analyzes your video topic and suggests optimized YouTube titles, descriptions, and tags to boost visibility.
✅ Enter your video topic → get SEO-optimized metadata in seconds
✅ Multilingual support for ranking in different languages
✅ No more keyword guessing—AI finds what works best for your niche
Would this be useful to you? I’d love some feedback! Also, if you want to test it out, let me know.
Hopefully this helps someone, don't hesitate to add more tips. I'm at 8k subs, 10 million lifetime views. Most recent video 1 day ago 7k views.
Use 3 Hashtags (#) in the Description Adding hashtags to your video description can help categorize your content and make it more discoverable. Stick to 3 relevant hashtags that best describe your video.
2. Keyword-Rich Descriptions Make sure to include important keywords in your video description. This helps YouTube understand what your video is about and improves its search ranking.
3. Include Your Title in the Description Repeating your video title in the description is a simple yet effective way to boost SEO. It reinforces the main topic of your video to YouTube's algorithm.
4. Use a Variety of Tags Tags are crucial for getting your video noticed. Include a mix of broad and specific tags. A helpful tool for this is [RapidTags.com] https://rapidtags.io/generator which can generate a list of effective tags for your video. Don't forget to include your video title as one of the tags!
5. Recent Content Section At the end of your description, add a "Recent Content" section. List the titles and links of your last three videos. This can help keep viewers engaged with more of your content.
Example:
Recent Content:
Video Title 1: [Link 1]
Video Title 2: [Link 2]
Video Title 3: [Link 3]
6. Use Timestamps in Description Adding timestamps in your description can enhance user experience, making it easier for viewers to navigate your video. It's also a great way to highlight key moments.
Need an SEO tool for my business that provides accurate Keyword Research for Youtube Search specifically.
So far these products seem to offer Youtube Search analytics:
Keywords Everywhere
Keywordtool.io
Tubebuddy
I'm currently using Tubebuddy but it provides minimal functionality. Interestingly it pulls data from Keywordtool.io. Anyone ever used these products or an alternative? What was most effective for you.
Ultimate goal is to build a better Youtube channel and I want to utilize SEO to make sure I title my videos accordingly.
How do you guys do keyword research? What kind of tools do you use?
I have seen recommendations for YouTube channels on Reddit, but I'm looking for an updated list of channels and resources to learn about SEO. :)
I'm looking for the best and free SEO tools to rank my website. Any advice would be appreciated.
I’m pretty new to SEO and just trying to get a feel for how everything works. I know Ahrefs and Semrush are the go to tools, but honestly, they’re out of my budget right now.
Are there any free SEO tools that are actually useful and not just super limited trials? Im mostly looking to do keyword research, maybe some basic site audits, and just learn the ropes without having to pay upfront.
Please share your experience whether it was good or bad, thanks.
Does any one know good tool for searching keywords and YouTube tags that’s free, I am just new to YouTube so don’t have money to pay for them yet. Vidiq and other seems to charge for it. Also how many tags, hashtags is too much. Does tags and hashtag mean anything on YouTube shorts. What mistakes should I avoid to grow in YouTube.
I’m looking to improve my YouTube channel’s reach organically. What proven SEO tips like keyword optimization, title tweaks, description structure, or audience engagement have actually helped you see a noticeable increase in views?
Curious what free SEO tools you guys rely on and if there are any underrated ones that deserve more attention. Also open to any geo / local SEO tools you think are worth checking out....!
