March 6, 2024 - Hello BF is a memory error code. Remove the CPU and check for any bent or damaged socket pins. When remounting be sure the cooler is evenly but not overtightened. Also check the the board is not being bent/flexed from improper mounting.

Ill start by saying that nothing seems to be wrong.. I can get into Windows (7) just fine, and the system seems to be running great at this point. September 21, 2016 - Hi Chronioum You may need to clear your CMOS although this should have been done when you updated to latest version. Qcode bf means there was an issue during memory training and you need to tune the system in Bios to get it stable for POST. Also: 32GB at 3000MHz is a lot to ask of your IMC.

So I've had my computer since Christmas, and it was working weirdly. I have a gtx 1080 so I don't know why, but someone told me to change my card to my first slot. It was in the second slot. My cooler was too big so I got a new cooler, and I replaced my cooler and changed the location of my graphics card. It booted to the bios at first so I just clicked save changed. The second time I booted it, it will turn on for a minute with the error bF, and now it does that every time.

Built my first PC last December. Been working great for 10 months. Then,today, all of sudden it won't boot up. I can't even get to a screen. The PC powers up and then shuts down
List anything you've done in attempt to diagnose or fix the problem.
I get Debug error codes bf or 6f. Which basically means memory compatibility error. I attempted to move ram around and try different slots and I can get to cycle through 04, AF, 60, 55 which is again another memory error.
Provide any additional details you wish below.
I'm assuming it's the mobo maybe the DIMM control chip fried out?, I've ordered a new one. Any advice or insight would be helpful.
