I immediately unplugged the fan and called the Big Lots store where it was purchased. I asked for a refund of my money since the product was ineffective and a safety hazard. Since I could not find my original receipt they could offer no solutions other than exchanging the product. I reached out to corporate customer service looking for a resolution and was also told there was nothing they could do to rectify the situation.

All i can say after 25 years of Christmas working at Big Lots I don't miss the Holiday season at all.

Last of all I'm assured he is able to bring it back, so they confirm with my driver that he is going to bring it back and I will get a refund in 2-5 business days only to find out after 5 business days they haven't even processed my return and they tried to say I still have it (Strike three). Luck for me I had a customer service supervisor email me that it IS being returned to the store same day and that I will get my money in 2-5 business days.
